I stood at the front of the classroom teaching Via for the first time in weeks. She still looked pale and tired and her head wasn't in it. She was making simple mistakes that she hasn't made since her first few weeks of taking the class. Her mind was as clouded as the skies.

She rubbed her face in frustration clearly not following what I had just said. "Let's take a break and come back to this," I suggested. She was still in the depths of grieving her dad. I haven't really seen her much other than today.

Yelena and she had found a friendship though they hung out. Yelena watched Comet whilst she was at school. Via was staying at her dads rental with the dog as he wasn't allowed in the dorms and from what I can piece together Wanda, Carol, Bucky and Peter are all staying there with her. I was glad her friends were there to support her. Bruce spoke to me about Via's grades in his classes apparently they were slipping but it was expected. I told him she just needed more time. Looking at her you can clearly see she has other things on her mind.

I wanted her to come to me, come and talk to me but she hadn't not since the first night, our official break-up. It had been three weeks. I saw her at the funeral she wrote a beautiful song for her father saying everything she couldn't say in a speech. I didn't speak to her there though. Her friends were quick to whisk her away anytime I got remotely close. "Do you want to end class for today? We can pick this up next week." "Sure." She answered packing up.

"How are you feeling?" "Fine." "I thought we were going to work at this friends thing." "Yeah." "That involves saying more than one word to me at a time." "Okay, I'll try harder." I wanted to roll my eyes at her but I knew she was in a bad place. "Baby?" I looked towards the door to the owner of the voice. "Hey, babe." She smiled widely at Logan. "sUP, Miss Romanoff." He nodded his head at me. This idiot gets her to smile? "You ready, baby?" "Yeah, you got the stuff?" "You know it." He winked at her. "Perfect. It's going to be the best session yet." She was speaking like I wasn't there. "Session for what?" I questioned. They both looked guilty. "Music," Via said. "Drugs," Logan said at the same time. "What?" "He's kidding miss." She says. "Yeah kidding. Ha." Logan says sarcastically. "Come on Via." He hurried her she shoved her things in her bag. I made my way to the desk.

"What are you playing at?" I asked her in a hushed tone. "I told you he was kidding." She says before leaving quickly.

"Hi, Miss Romanoff what can I get you?" Wanda asked from behind the counter. "I need to talk to you," I tell her. "My breaks in 20... Is it about Liv and logan?" I nodded. "I'll bring your latte and shortbread over." "No cookie, I only ordered them to get Via to eat." She smiled sadly. Via had an annoying habit of eating off other peoples plates. We could have the exact same but she would be more inclined to eat if it came from my plate, so I'd order sweet treats so when she walked around the room past my table she'd sneak a bite. I knew she had busy days so it just brought me peace of mind that she had eaten at least something that day.

I took a seat and waited. She brought my drink over and then as promised she come over to me on her break with her lunch. "I'm assuming you know?" She asked hesitantly. "I know something. I don't know if I know everything." I admit. "The drugs?" "I know that." "The parties." I shake my head. "Logan." "Kind of guest." "He's not good for her." "Clearly." Logan is in my Spanish class they met on the trip and clearly have been hanging out. "She's not taking her meds either." "If she's taking drugs it's probably for the best Wandas. Mixing medications isn't healthy." She nodded.

"She's not eating either... Not like she normally does anyway." "Not that she eat properly." "No, she's not even eating pop tarts for dinner. It's a can of beer and she's out the door to the next party." She explained. "She's grieving and she's finding a way to cope." "But it's not her coping this is her becoming so numb to the pain it's just going to come back." "Yeah, probably." "Can't you do something? Report her, say something to her?" "If I reported her she'd be kicked out of the school and that would make things worse." "Then talk to her. She'd listen to you." "I don't think so." "Why?" I tilted my head, it was obvious why. "I forget you're not together...She still writes about you." "What?" "Songs and stuff. About you." "She does?" "I mean they're more heartbreak songs than love songs but it's you." "I didn't mean to hurt her." "I don't think anyone can hurt her right now. She just doesn't care." She seemed defeated. "What about the others? What do they think?" "Carol thinks it's great because she's got her party buddy back. James worries about her but won't say anything because the last time he did they had a huge argument. And Peter well he's like children compared to Liv so even if he tried she wouldn't listen." "It's been three weeks how has it gotten so bad?" I asked but wasn't really looking for an answer.
