day three part three

Andreas had convinced Nick that if they got something to eat and a good nights rest that they'd be energized to find Gina and Sam

Nick was reluctant but agreed

Andreas leads Nick to his car and to Nick's surprise, Reese is not in the car.

"Is Reese at the motel?"

"Yeah"

Nick felt an intense crawl on his neck, they get into the car, driving the long windy roads to the motel

"How did you know I was at the police station?" Nick says

Andreas doesn't say anything

"Well... Reese isn't at the motel, she had left me there"

Nick nods and looks out the passenger window, the trees flying by and the night sky starry

He questions, where did Sam and Gina go? And why leave him?

After a few minutes of driving, Andreas pulls to a stop at the motel. It was different, no longer a adventurous runaway trip but a lonely, uneasy mishap.

The boys enter the motel room, Andreas sits on the bed and Nick stands, turning to the window and looking out. He swallows as he lays his eyes on the room he was just in nearly a day ago.

"Why did you leave?" Andreas asks

"I think I was tired of everything, being lonely, being left behind" Nick says, he then turns to Andreas, "Why did you leave? It just weird"

"My dad, I can't stand him, he's such a manipulative asshole" Andreas expresses, his hands turning to fists then back to open palms, "Sorry"

Nick shakes his head

They stay silent for moment, Nick settling down and sitting on the chair in the corner of the motel room, near the window.

Then Nick's face turns a light red, eyes watering and nose burning as he continues looking towards the motel room

"I just want to know where they are, I feel like everybody leaves me and I just... I just...

Nick is interrupted, Andreas hugging him and pulling him close

"I won't leave you" Andreas says, "I promise"

Nick melts into the hug, also putting his arms around Andreas. Andreas picks up Nick, Nick standing to his feet.

Nick pulls his head back to look at Andreas, Andreas looks down at Nick, their faces quite close

Andreas slowly moves and plants a kiss on Nick's lips, Nick kisses back
