day four part two

Andreas grabs Nick's head and throws him against the doorframe, knocking Nick to a drowsy state. He lies on the floor, scared of getting up. Scared.

I don't want to die

Selfishly, I don't want to die

Arrogantly, I don't want to die

I don't want to die

Nick flutters his eyes, his vision blurry

"I didn't want you to see that" Andreas says, "I made a mistake"

Nick pushes himself up, looking at Andreas pacing

"I didn't mean to kill her"

Nick trembles at Andreas' low voice, it was a whisper, barely a whisper. Nick's vision centers on the bathroom door.

"I didn't kill her" Nick turns his attention back to Andreas, "I can't let you leave Nick"

Andreas hastily pulls on his clothes, and throws some items into his backpack

Nick, in the sitting up position, watches every move Andreas makes, his mind felt hazy, he couldn't think of plan to escape

Where would he go?

Who would he tell?

"We're leaving" Andreas says and pulls Nick up to his feet, opening the motel door to the outside

He could scream, get the attention of strangers, but what they do?

What would Andreas do to him?

Nick stays silence and gets in the passenger seat

They pull out of the motel parking lot, driving into the forestry area, the roads empty and Nick feeling uncomfortably alone.
