"Wait what?!" Rue asked and I shrugged as I sat on Rue's bed "Yeah. She told me she's dating Nate" Rue frowned and threw an arm around me "I'm sorry bro. I know you wanted to tell her how you felt" I pressed my lips together and nodded "And now I have to see both of them at Nate's party tonight" Silence was casted upon us until I finally spoke again "Yeah, well it's whatever. I just wanna get drunk and high as fuck" Rue laughed "I think we better pay Fez and Ash a visit" A grin soon grew on my face "You read my mind"

We walked all the way to Fez and Ash's store and quickly walked inside. We saw Fez standing behind the counter and I hopped up on the counter while Rue stood in front of us. "Hey, Fez" He gave me a small chuckle "Sup, Jay. What you need?" I turned to face him "Some weed. I don't care how much just give me some weed" He looked at both me and Rue with a confused look on his face and he eventually just said fuck it "Ash is in the back" I nodded and I walked to the back while Rue stayed in the front with Fez. I walked over to Ash who I saw was counting money. Ash looked up at me and paused what he was doing "Yo, Jay" "What's up, Ash. What you been doing?" He shook his head "Not shit. What you stopping by for?" "Some weed" He stood up to  put the money away and went to grab something out of a drawer. He tossed us a bag of weed and sat back down "That'll be 60" I grabbed some money out of my pocket and tossed it to him "Pleasure doin' business with you" "Pleasure's all mine. Ya'll going to my brother's party tonight?" Ash shrugged in an uncertain manner "Shit maybe" I nodded in response "Well, I'll catch you later, Ash" "See ya" 

I walked back to the front where Rue and Fez were and I grabbed a bottle of wine and tossed some money at Fez. "Thanks, Fez" I said with a tight lipped smile "Yeah we appreciate it man" Rue added on as she followed me out the store. "So, what do we do now?" Rue shrugged "Wanna go to your house?" I shook my head "Fuck no. They could care less about where I'm at so what's the point of going there? It's not even my house, I'm barely there and most my shit is at your house so let's go home to your house" Rue didn't say anything. She just nodded and began walking home. I know that Rue cares about me, she's been my best friend for god knows how long but I don't think she'll ever be able to understand who my parents actually are. 

We had been at Rue's house for a few hours. We were hanging out while watching a movie before we realized it was time to get ready for the party. After me and Rue chose our outfits and got dressed we began walking to my house. When we arrived you could hear music blasting from the outside and me and Rue walked through the front door. We saw a bunch of people dancing and others drinking and getting high. "I'mma go to the bathroom" Rue said and I nodded as I walked over and sat on the couch. 

I sat on the couch in my living room while music loudly played and a bunch of people I didn't know got drunk and destroyed the house. I brought a joint to my lips, I inhaled and then slowly exhaled as the smoke disappeared. I never thought it was possible to feel so lonely in a room full of people, yet I look around the room and all I see is a bunch of drunk idiots. I took a quick look around the room and I saw Maddy talking to somebody and I admired how pretty she looked. I saw Nate walk towards her and the began dancing together. I quickly turned away and went to go find some type of alcohol to get in my system. I found some vodka on the kitchen counter and I quickly chugged it, letting the liquid burn my throat. You never know how much it's gonna hurt to see the person you've been madly in love with, with someone else until you actually have to sit there and watch.

 I suddenly felt a hand on my shoulder and I turned to see Heather standing behind me. "Hey, Jj. Long time no talk".  Me and Heather have a past of hooking up at parties but the only reason that ever happened was because Maddy pissed me off and I decided to sleep with the person she despises the most. Heather and Maddy didn't really like each other, why? Nobody knows but I always figured it was because they were so similar.  "Hey, Heather" I replied as I continued chugging the bottle of vodka "Woah, who pissed you off?" I shrugged my shoulders "Nobody important" I said as I began to walk upstairs and she nodded and mumbled an 'ok' as she followed me.

 I opened the door to my old room and plopped down on my bed while taking a quick sip. Heather closed the door behind her and sat down next to me. "June, you know you can talk to me" I slowly turned to face her "You really wanna know?" I asked and she nodded. I took a breathe before I spoke. "I like Maddy and now she's dating my twin brother and I have to sit and watch while they dance together and it fucking hurts" Heather's eyes widened and I put my head down. She stayed quiet for a moment before she finally broke the silence. "I think you deserve better than that. Forget about Maddy. There's other girls who would love to date you" I looked up at her "Oh yeah? Who?" She stayed silent and I noticed her eyes looking at my lips and she slowly started to lean in. Before I could speak her lips were soon on mine. We both gave into the kiss. She began to straddle me, deepening the kiss. I moved my hands down to her waist and her lips soon moved down to my neck. She soon broke the kiss and pulled away and I gave her a confused look "Why'd you stop?" She shook her head "Your drunk" I nodded and she stopped straddling me "Let's do this when your sober"
