I woke up with the feeling of sunlight shining on my face. I winced as I brought my hand to my head as it began to pound. I slowly opened my eyes as I sat up against the arm rest of the couch I had been asleep on. I was covered in a thick comforter and I was still wearing my clothes from the previous night. I took a look around the room to see that I was in Fez's living room. A sigh of relief left my lips as I turned to see Fez sitting on the other end of the couch while Rue was asleep on the floor. 

"Damn, JJ you look like shit" He said with a light chuckle and I gave him a sarcastic smile. "Do you have water?", my hangover started to hit me like a brick and my head felt like it was being held down by an anvil. Fez handed me a cup of water and I quickly began drinking, letting the ice water soothe my throat. I sat the cup down on the table in front of us. "How'd I get here?" I questioned, "Heather told me you were wasted" 

A shock hit my body as I slowly started to remember the last time I saw Heather. Last time I saw her, I wasn't in the best mind frame and even though Maddy probably doesn't even care about me, I still felt like I had betrayed her. 

I was pulled out of my thoughts when I heard my phone go off. I looked to see that Heather texted me. I let out a light chuckle, "Speak of the devil". 'Had fun last night. Call me' The text said and multiple thoughts began running through my head all at once. Should I call her? Should I ghost her? Should I talk to Maddy? Is Maddy gonna be mad when she finds out?. "What'd she say?", I turned my phone screen to face Fez and his eyes widened once he was done reading. "Shit bro, what ya'll do last night?" He said with a smirk and I rolled my eyes in annoyance. "We kind of made out" Fez just shook his head and laughed. I looked at him with a confused face as my eye brows began to furrow. "Ya'll do this at literally every party" I sat still as silence filled the air between us because, he wasn't wrong. At every party we go to I get mad Maddy's talking to guys, I get drunk and then some how I always end my night by hooking up with Heather. 

"You ever think about just giving her a chance, bro? The girl obviously likes you" , Fez questioned and I didn't have an answer. I didn't know why me and Heather always ended up together at the end of the night and I honestly don't know why I haven't just asked her out. I mean, Maddy is most likely never going to feel the same way so, why not give it a shot? "I don't know, maybe I will"
