I wiped off my tears and got up turning towards the door

I sighed deeply

I went out of the house without a second thought of looking back

As if what I was feeling wasn’t enough, the sky decided to add insult to injury.

I slowly walked through the rain. Getting soaked to the bone.

My father’s words were still ringing in my head.

I tripped and fell in a puddle of muddy water, hitting my head in the process.

The last thing I saw was a slick shiny shoe, I couldn’t care less at the moment and just wished for my life to end.
