Alright. Time for a bit of a writing update for the 8th of December 2021.

But first! A bit of a life update!
I finally have a job! I work night shift 4pm to 1am Mon-Fri at the mussel factory. I do lower grading, and that's basically pulling the beards (or seaweed I guess) out of the mussels along with removing the crabs, full shells, empty half shells, and the broken shells off the conveyor belt. And cutting the meat out of any broken shells. And holy fuck, is the job boring, and quite tiring, and you get sore quick standing around in one spot for three hours at a time. But it's work, and I don't have to deal with any customers, so I can't complain, and the other workers on our grading team are great. But fuck, the amount of times the machine decides to break down.... Too damn often....

Now, since I work night shift, it takes away a lot of the time I'd use to write, and our breaks between runs are just too short for me to get any writing done. We get two half hour breaks between three 3 hour (sometimes 2 1/2 hours instead, or hell, 3 1/2 hours) runs. Although our half hour breaks start as soon as we leave the grading table, and by the time we're out of our work gear and back upstairs that's about 5ish minutes gone, then another 5ish gone when we go back down, so really our breaks are more 20 minutes instead of 30.
So that really leaves me only having the weekends free to write, unless we don't have work any day during the week due to low crop, or we only have two runs instead of three due to low crop. Although I do have a bit of time to write during the day after I get up until I have to leave at around 3, but I like writing at night more tbh, and I get a hell of a lot more writing done at night. Which leaves me with writing mostly on the weekends.
Okay! Now onto the writing update!

Now... Literally everything is on an indefinite hiatus until I can find the motivation to work on them. And when I say everything, I mean everything that's not Prodigal Son fic, cause that's literally all I got the motivation to write. Although I might try to get those two Big Wolf on Campus fics finished soon.
Although I feel I should mention that I've actually got at least half a chapter finished for everything. Just got to find the motivation to finish the chapters off then post 'em. And actually, in the case of my Stucky mpreg fic, Nurture, I've got around 2.5k written for the next chapter, and while that is a lot, it's only about halfway done. Ideally I'd say the next chapter for that fic will be around 4k once finished, maybe even 5k. So... hopefully once that chapter is complete and posted the length will make up for the wait.
So pretty much all I'm working on right now, is my Malcolm Bright Whumptober 2021 collection book, Make You Hurt, and my Prodigal Son fic, Dark Angel. That's basically all that I'm working on at the moment, along with a few one-shots (about 5 that I'll only be posting up onto Ao3, because well... they're Kinktober related, and we all know how Wattpad can be about smut, whereas literally anything goes on Ao3, even the grossest most repulsive thing you can think of....), and a couple other longfics that I'm not entirely sure when they'll be posted.
Also, I've kind of decided that Prodigal Son is going to be the main fandom I write for from now on. Along with Big Wolf on Campus, Malcolm in the Middle and Lost. But that doesn't mean I'm going to quit writing for others, they're just my main four. Still trying to figure out what the fifth main fandom of mine will be though, cause five main fandoms sound better than four tbh. And I want the first five fandoms you see when you view my Ao3 profile to be my main fandoms, so the four I mention earlier, and one other that I've not yet decided on.

There's my Ao3 profile, and I'd like the first five fandoms on the list to read Prodigal Son, Big Wolf on Campus, Lost, Malcolm in the Middle, and whatever else I choose as my fifth main fandom. Maybe Good Omens once I start writing fic for it? Though tbh I think it'll most likely end up as Game of Thrones, due to all the Malcolm Bright/Sandor Clegane one-shots I have planned, along with a longfic for it....
Anyway, what else can I say.... I'm not entirely sure.
Oh, I know I've written a Christmas fic every year for the past four years, (last years one isn't yet finished, oops), but I've decided I'm not going to write one this year. I am however writing a Christmas themed Prodigal Son one-shot that'll be posted into my Prodigal Son one-shots book sometime between the 13th and the 24th. I'm not sure when, as I'm participating in this Prodigal Son Ao3 12 Days of Christmas writing challenge event thing that a couple of Prodigies over on Twitter are running, and I'm not sure which day I've got to post my one-shot yet. Probably not until later on in the event due to my work schedule though. We're doing a whole collections thing for it over on Ao3, which I'm not entirely sure how it works? But I'm sure I'll figure it out by the time posting happens.
Anyway, now that should be all.
Any questions?
