You stared at yourself in the mirror, still fascinated and horrified every time.

It was only a few months ago when the curse was put into affect. It happened all because of your ex-best friend. She took advantage of you, and in turn you became a seraphim.

In other words, an angel.

Not the western image of an angel, a biblical angel. (Oh the urge to write bibble-)

You had three sets of eyes, as well as a singular one in the middle of your forehead. You thought it looked cool/ you didn't like it that much. But everyone always had to stare when their eyes found yours.

There was something else about this transformation you liked. You could fly if you wanted. Your form had two sets of large, fluffy wings.

But you still thought it drew way too much attention.

A knock from the door drew you out of your thoughts.

"Coming!" You shout and run to the door.

You open it to reveal your skull-clad boyfriend Tabi. He wasn't so lucky with Cherry, either.

Cherry was his ex-girlfriend. She and her father ended up using him for their own personal gain. This ended him up with no visible body, just a goat skull resting on top of his head.

"Oh, hey Tab!" You beamed. "Come on in."

You two had only started dating about three months ago. He only just started really opening up to you.

Both of you had something to bond over. Hatred.

You sat down next to your boyfriend on the couch, thinking back to the time you met in that doomed restaurant.

"Did you come up with any ideas for today?" You asked Tabi.

He spoke in his thick Russian accent.

"I don't have many ideas..." he admits. "And I take it you don't want the attention of a public space."

You thought for a moment and shrugged. "I can't just stay inside forever. I have to go out at some point. Besides, I've barely even stepped outside of my door since that...thing happened..." you trail.

Tabi sighs. He knows exactly how you felt.

Picking the conversation back up, you toss out a suggestion.

"How about we go to the park?" You offer. "It's not very crowded during the week."

"Hmm...sure, why not?" He agrees.

You fluttered your wings in excitement.

"Okay then, it's settled!"

The park was within walking distance from your apartment, just about two blocks away.

It was a beautiful day outside (birds are singing, flowers are blooming-)

There were a lot more people than you thought there would be.

You moved a little closer to Tabi.

You felt people's eyes burning a hole through your skin. Maybe this was a bad idea.

Without thinking, you quickly grabbed Tabi's hand. You were scared, and didn't know what to do.

It took Tabi by surprise. You two haven't had any sort of physical contact in the time you were dating.

He looked over and saw your fearful expression.

"Everything alright, Y/n?" Tabi asks, audible concern in his voice.

"I didn't think there would be this many people..." You whimper.

He squeezes your hand and rubs his thumb over yours in an effort to calm you down at least a little bit.

"There's a bench over there, away from everyone," Tabi pointed to your right. "Do you want to sit down?"

You nod, wanting to get out of sight as soon as possible.

The bench was in between a little grove of trees, away from everything else. The two of you sat down on the bench, still hand in hand. It was a lot quieter over here as well. You smile and rest your head on your parter's shoulder.

You would never be able to tell, but Tabi was blushing intensely.
