Chapter 14: Proposal

I finished the introduction so Eun-woo and I went out of the classroom. 

"I don't have a class during first period, so walk around the campus to familiarize yourself or prep for the next class." I told Eun-woo. 

"Umm.. Then can sunbae--"

"It's Ms. Lisa" I reminded him. 

"Ah, Yes, Ms. Lisa.." he hesitantly said. 

Hm? I'm oddly reminded of yesterday's conversation..

"My name is Jeon Jungkook and not 'Se-hyun's Uncle." I scoffed remembering how arrogant he looked. 

And why did his name have to be Jeon Jungkook? I look at my stomach. It reminds me of my cookie. 

"Then Ms Lisa, can you please show me around the school?" I heard Eun-woo say but I don't want to entertain him right now. 

He said wanted to see me today, but he didn't contacted me yet. How are we supposed to see each other? 

Wait. Do I want to see him again? I shook my head. 

"Ms. Lisa?" Eun-woo's calling me, but my eyes are somewhere else. 

I saw our vice principal with two other men at the end of the hallway, but what got my attention was the man next to him. He looks like him. Oh, that man is tall. About the same height as him too..?

When our eyes met, I realized, its him. It's fucking HIM. 

"AHH!" I yelped.  Shit!! Why is he here? Is he crazy? Did he come to see me at school? 

Eun-woo was startled by my scream "You scared me, Just because I asked you to show me around, doesn't mean you should go into shock" 

"I'm going to lose my mind."  I started running to his direction. 

"Sunbae..?" I left the confuse Eun-woo alone. 

"..is the reason you've come to visit the school--" I faintly heard the vice principal said. 

I ran like a maniac. As I got near I grabbed his hand and started to run away to the opposite direction and didn't look back. 

I'll explain it to the vice principal later. He's gonna scold me again for sure. 

When I knew we where in a safe location, I stopped to catch my breath. 

"What are you doing here?" I said breathlessly. 

"We're supposed to meet today. But I didn't come here to meet you specifically.." he answered.

Huh? Then why is he here? 

Wiping the sweat off my face. "Se-hyun's in class right now" Whew. I should do cardio. I get tired easily. 

"I'm well aware of that. But more importantly.." he look down so I followed his gaze. 

"..please let go of my hand." I realized I was still holding his hands. 

I quickly let go of it.  "Wah! I'm sorry!" 

But his hands are still holding mine.  "I've let go..?"

"Oh.." then he slowly remove his grip on me. 

"Are you alright? Shall I send someone for water? " He look concerned

"What?" Then I notice I'm in a mess. My hair's all over the place and I'm sweating buckets. 

"You're all out of breath. Or maybe you just have a weak stamina? Do you normally not exercise much?" His gazed still fixed on mine. 

"Why are you asking me that all of a sudden?" It's your fault I'm in this state anyway. 

He then slowly raise his hand to fix my hair. Its so gentle that I felt my heart flutter. 

"You need to take care of yourself.." I flushed at his sudden display of affection. 

"It would be good if you could refrain running like this from now on." Though it sounded like a request, his face says otherwise. 

"I'm sorry.. what?" I tried to back away a little but he held my arms to refrain me from doing so. 

"What are you doing? We can talk after I get off work today. Please leave my workplace." Just how does his small gesture can get me all flustered like this? 

"I'm afraid I don't have the time to meet with you when you get off work." Is he too busy? Just what does he do for a living? 

"Well, I have class starting second period so I'll need to prep. I don't much have time to talk right now." 

He should've have called me like he said he would. Why does he have to ambush me like this? 

"Then I'll keep it short.." his gaze is piercing. I cannot look away. 

The words came out his mouth next left me perplexed.  "Let's get married." 

I look in his face to see if he's just playing a trick on me, but all I see is his earnest eyes. 

He really does have a beautiful eyes, I could stare at him forever and not get tired of it. 

Wait.. what did he say again? 

Reality pulled me back in as soon as I remember what he said.

 I felt my soul left my body. I shouted "WHAT?!!! What did you say?!"
