Chapter 4

Sorry I haven't updated in a while, this chapter ( should ) be more entertaining, I always did find the start of Charlie and the chocolate factory a little but slow ( NO OFFENCE TO ROAL DAHL! He was an amazing writer )

It was decided that you would take Charlie to the factory, you had offered to let grandpa Joe go as he had been dancing around the room but he insisted you took him

Anyway

You and Charlie were now standing at the gate waiting for it to be ten o'clock

' Ok Charlie, stay where I can see you if you can, from what I've heard about Willy wonka, the factory could be a bit chaotic ' you chuckled

Charlie smiled up at you and nodded
' ok y/n '

You then heard the others talking

' daddy why won't the gate open! ' Veruca salt said

' it opens at ten o'clock dear it's only ten to! ' her father said looking almost afraid of her

' make time go faster!'

Charlie looked across at them and then at you as if waiting for you to say something to you

' you ignore her Charlie, she's been raised wrong ' you whispered to him ' anyway her personality matches her name '

At the Charlie giggled slightly making you smile

' eyes on the prize violet, eyes on the prize ' Violet Beauregard's mother said to her loudly

Violet just nodded and kept chewing annoyingly loudly

Then Mike and his father were just standing looking dim

And Augustus gloop's face was basically covered in chocolate and he had a chocolate bar in his hand

His Mother however looked like a kind woman who raised her kid wrong

It seemed to you like Charlie was the only child who had been raised to respect/be kind to others

You were deep In thought when Charlie tapped your shoulder

' hmm? '

' y/n! The gates are opening '

Your eyes widened as you saw the others were already part way in

You both hurried forward and got into the gate and stood with the others in front of the factory

' come forward, close the gates! ' said a loud voice and then the gates fairly quickly, closed

' dear visitors, it is my great pleasure to welcome to my humble factory and who am I? Well...'

' wait for it ' you muttered, you had been told lots of stories of how strange the man was so you knew the man could be a bit chaotic, funny, but chaotic
You hadn't been allowed to go to the opening of the factory as you had, had school

Suddenly some curtains opened and a load of puppets appeared

' HEE HEE HAA HAA HO HO WILLY WONKA, WILLY WONKA THE AMAZING CHOCOLATIER wee WILLY WONKA, WILLY WONKA, EVERYBODY GIVE A CHEER! HURRAY! HE'S MODEST, CLEVER AND SO SMART HE BARELY CAN RESTRAIN IT! SO MUCH GENEROSITY THERE IS NO WAY TO CONTAIN IT! TO CONTAIN! To contain! to contain... WILLY WONKA! WILLY WONKA! HES THE ONE THAT YOU'RE ABOUT TO MEET, WILLY WONKA! WILLY WONKA, HE'S A GENIUS WHO JUST CANT BE BEAT A MAGICIAN AND A CHOCOLATE WIZZ HES THE BEST DARN GUY WHO EVER LIVED! WILLY WONKA HERE HE IIIIIISSSSS!!!!'

You looked at Charlie with an awkward smile and said ' told you '

Then a throne came up from somewhere but no one was in it

Then everything set on fire and the dolls - that were already bloody creepy- faces melted off

Suddenly you heard clapping from the end of the line

' HeHeheehe! Wasn't that just magnificent! ' you heard

And immediately you knew who it was

Grandpa Joe had told you loads about the man

' I was worried it was getting a lil' dodgy in the middle part but that finale I- wOw! ' Mr Wonka said while giggling

' who are you ' an obnoxious voice said, Violet Beauregard's obnoxious voice

' He's Willy Wonka ' you said with a smile

' really? ' Charlie asked in amazement

You smiled at him and nodded

After a VERY awkward minute he said ' GoodMorning star shine! The earth says hello! '

Everyone then took an awkward glance at each other, confused as to what was going on

He then smiled awkwardly and took out some cards

' Dear Guests, Greetings. Welcome to my factory, I shake you warmly by the hand ' he said sticking his hand out, but then changed his mind and pulled his hand back making you chuckle quietly

' my name is Willy Wonka hehe ' he chuckled quietly at the end, obviously uncomfortable talking to people after so long without human contact Or any contact as far as you were all aware

' then shouldn't you be up there?' Said Veruca

These kids were already getting on your nerves and it wasn't even lunch time yet

' well I couldn't very well watch the show from up there now could I Lil' girl ' he said

You frowned and said quietly ' also he would have been burned to death if he had have been up there '

Unfortunately everyone heard but Mr Wonka nodded in agreement

You then stepped forward, remembering that Grandpa Joe had asked you to see if Mr Wonka remembered him

' Mr Wonka, I don't know if you'll remember, but mine and Charlie's grandfather used to work here, in the factory ' you said

' was he one of those despicable spies who everyday tried to steal my lives work and sell it to those Paracidic(??) copy cat, candy making cads? ' he said as his whole personality seemed to change

' what? No of course not! 'You said

' oh... well tell him I say hi! ' Mr Wonka said happily

You blinked twice, extremely confused and then you all followed him inside

' don't you want to know our names? ' Augustus Gloop said

' he will have seen it on the news or in the paper you idiot ' you thought

' I can't imagine how it would matter, now come on' Mr Wonka said
