"What is all this then" I asked going out into the garden, I just finished putting the food away when I noticed the fire lit outside
I smiled walking out to see James and my Dad sat there together talking
When my blow out happened with Emily and I let it slip what had happened, I had it in my head that he would hate James just like he does with Alfie 
But I couldn't be happier to see that isn't the case
"We were just talking about you actually" Dad said as I took a seat next to James
"What about me?" I asked with a small pout, It was most likely not going to be anything good
"did you know you and I did a few baby ballet classes together" James asked and I nodded
"Miss Kate told me a couple months ago. Apparently you would leave me alone" I said making him chuckle
"It's how you got your nickname of Mush Riley. You would always walk out of classes that James was in pouting" Dad laughed making me roll my eyes
Before either of us could say anything else James' phone started to light up, he picked it up to see it was Piper. It's not normal for Piper to ring..
James looked at me a little concerned, I nudged him a little to go answer it to which he nodded rising to his feet

"Everything okay?" Dad asked and I shrugged 
"It's his little sister" I said and Dad nodded before glancing over to see James on the phone, he wasn't too far away so we could still sort of hear him
"Piper, I thought you were dying or something christ" James groaned making me have to hold back a laugh
"No Pipes, I don't know when I'll be home" James continued
"I don't really think this is somewhere I can bring you for the weekend" He said with an eye roll
"James" I called making him swiftly turn around to look at me
"Go get her" I laughed and he narrowed his eyes at me 
"Go onnnn" I continued
"I don't know who we are on about but go get her" Dad said piping up. It was now 3 against 1
"Fine Piper pack your over night bag, I'll come get you now" James said rolling his eyes as he hung up the phone 
"You are going to regret your choice" James said coming back to us
"No, I like Piper" I said before smirking
"I like Piper more than I like you" I replied making James roll his eyes before turning to look at my dad
"Are you sure you are okay with having my little sister here?" James asked 
"Of course, she might liven up the place and get Riley to loosen up a little" Dad said making me glare at him
"We have more then enough room too" I said making James nod
"I'll try not to be too long" James said smiling at me with his gleaming smile

After a good couple hours, I heard a car pulling into the driveway. I glanced over at Dad who was watching TV, he had noticed this too and a small smile was playing on his lips
I don't know what he was expecting when we said little sister but I don't think he is ready for our Pipes 
"RILEYYYY!" I hear Pipe squeal as she runs into the house probably leaving James to grab her stuff, I chuckled catching giving her a hug
"Hey P" I smiled looking at her
"I've missed you" She said snaking her arms around me, this small gesture was enough to send me into a long smile

I chuckled glancing up to see James and Dad sat together probably laughing at our exchange
"Piper, this is my Dad Andrew, Dad this is James' little sister Piper" I said pushing Piper forward a little making Dad smile
"Well it is lovely to meet you Piper" Dad said making Piper smile
"I made you a card!" Piper said going through her bag that was on the sofa next to James
She soon took a card out of the bag
For a 13 year old, she was a good drawer
"Thankyou Piper" Dad said with the same smile he had the moment she stepped through the door
I think they may just get along like to thieves
