She saunters her way to me,
Her hips sway from left to right
And she's tauntingly beautiful.
Brunette hair and beautiful brown eyes
That search around,
The simple beauty
Was enough to drive a sane man into insanity
And I was always more comfortable with
Not feeling my brain.
I make my way to her,
Dragging my feet
And eyes fixed on her.
I've loved her for longer than I've known
And she doesn't even begin to know it
But she strings me along.
She calls me hers, even if for just a night.
I've always been a fan of toxicity,
The gas keeps me going,
The poison on my veins is far too familiar
And I get high off of it.
She says my body is soft and round,
And she doesn't like edges,
So I hide my wrists behind my back,
I hide my wants deep inside my head,
I laugh and smile with her.
In my dreams, it's us against the world,
It's her and I,
It's just us—
