"What's wrong with Josh?" Anne asks Louis when she gives him a cup of tea, her son still upstairs getting himself ready.

"He's not my greatest fan." Louis chuckles. "Apparently I've ruined their date today. Anne, can I ask you a question?"

Anne nods while taking some biscuits out of the cupboard to serve with Louis' tea.

"How do you feel about Harry competing?"

"I think it's lovely." Anne smiles. "I think he really enjoys it as well. He has sent me loads of pictures from Jamaica and he has told many good things about Niall and you. He really likes the two of you, feels at ease with you."

Louis smiles and thanks Anne for the cuppa.

"Do you think he will make it?"

"He will." Anne nods. "If it's not in the band he will make it in any kind of other thing but I believe in my son and I'm sure he will make it in music. He is talented and passionate. If he doesn't win the competition then yeah it would be a bummer but that doesn't have to mean the end of everything right?"

Louis gives Anne a sweet smile.

"You are such a supportive mother, reminds me of my own. This tea is amazing by the way." He says after taking a sip.

"He's my baby boy, my youngest kid, I just want him to be happy. I have to ask you something, Louis. My son has some kind of conspiracies. I'm not going to mention about who exactly from the band but he is sure that someone, or even more members, are closeted. I understand if you can't answer this but I want to protect my baby boy. We have always been open and honest in this family and I don't want him to become someone else. I think that's my biggest fear."

Anne can read the expression in Louis' eyes, pain, hurt and she doesn't even need to hear an answer from the young singer, she can read it.

"I'm sorry, love." She whispers when she sees a single tear escaping Louis' eyes. "Give me a hug."

Louis hugs the woman that he has met like not even an hour ago but she feels so familiar, reminds him so much of his own mother.

"Don't tell Harry about me, please." He sobs. "He will be able to be out because he is open about his sexuality and people actually would have voted him in the band. He is okay, he won't be closeted, Anne." Louis promises.

"And what about you, sweetheart?" she asks with a voice full concern.

"I'll be alright, don't mind me."

"Morning mom!" the conversation gets interrupted by Harry who comes down and kisses his mom on the cheek. Louis quickly removes his tears and acts all happy. He is used to do that.

"Hey Louis." Harry blushes when he looks at the boy. "I'm so sorry about earlier."

"It's alright." Louis gives him a smile. "If you want we can leave after you had breakfast? I hired a studio not that far from here."

"What's the plan if I may ask, Louis?" Anne asks.

"Well, I will mentor your curly son here for like two days after today, get him ready for the live shows." Louis smiles, ruffling Harry's hair. Anne has a fond smile on her face.

"So you'll be here again tomorrow?"

"I mean I was planning to but Harry has a date with his boyfriend and I don't want to come in between them again." Louis says, that's actually a lie though. He hates John.

"Oh, that's nonsense. You are not coming in between! You just told me you drove all the way from Doncaster! You can sleep over, love. I have an air mattress. It's not as fancy as your hotel rooms you stay in but it will save you the drive. Isn't it easier to stay here for three days in a row?"
