"this is the second time you kids have come in for free sundaes this week." the man said.
"well, yeah, 'cause it says it right here. free sundaes for athletes wearing game jerseys during home coming week." troy tapped the display.
"yeah, but that doesn't mean unlimited sundaes." the man explained.
"oh, should i call my legal representative?" troy asked.
"no, i just settled a law suit. some kid got his tongue stuck in the soft serve nozzle." the man recalled.
i cringed.
everyone else shrugged.
"oh, don't look now, the cobras just walked in." sawyer said.
"ew." i shoved my ice cream towards him.
"thanks. you know, sometimes i forget you're a city girl. you are very unclassy."
"i'm gonna be even more unclassy when i shove my foot up your ass-"
the room went quiet.
i glanced over at the door,
"look, it's the bulldogs." a cobra student from the other team commented.
