When you woke up you heard voices from downstairs you stood up got dressed and tried to find your way down the stairs still not being able to see when you got to the stairs you felt someone grab your arm stopping you in your tracks "I'll help you I wouldn't want you to fall" your sister said helping you down stairs as you got closer you recognized the voices it was your parents, boruto's parents, and inojin's parents talking about the conversation you had with your father the night before you felt the stairs end and you heard the talking stopped you could tell everyone was looking at you as sarada took you to sit next to your mother at your request because you weren't really ready to talk/forgive/interact with your father yet the whole time you could feel Sasukes eye on you as everyone slowly left the room until it was just you and your father in the room together he thought for a second before kneeling infront of you taking your hands in his bigger one "i love you so much i'm sorry i never showed it but i do truly love you and I am so proud of you" he said before you could respond sakura walked up behind you "y/n you need to change your bandages honey" you nodded and sakura walked you to your room leaving Sasuke there feeling like complete shit he sat down on the couch and put his head in his heads regretting how much he messed up he needed help from someone who never you very well but who both Sakura and Sarada were angry with him Naruto was busy and Boruto was an idiot and that left him with one person Karin so as much as he hated it he put his pride to the side and went to the place he swore to himself he would never go again he went into the forest on the path he knew better then he liked to admit he walked up to the house and knocked on the door after a while of no response was about to turn around when the door was opened and Sasuke was met with snake eyes "orochimaru" Sasuke said trying to hide the despair in his voice "well it's a shock to see you here" orochimaru said looking at Sasuke who sighed "what brings you all the way out here" orochimaru asked the latter man "is Karin here" Sasuke asked reluctantly "not at the moment she's on a mission why" orochimaru said as Sasuke cringed "I needed her help with y/n" Sasuke said not wanting to be in this situation "ah yes y/n your youngest daughter is that right" he asked and Sasuke nodded "I remember that little girl she was such a nice girl" orochimaru said "I might be of assistance I am a father to you know" the snake-oid man said "do you know how to make up for like 14 years of absence from a child's life" Sasuke said letting his anger slip "I would talk to her and tell her the truth because she is your daughter after all she deserves to know why you weren't there she'll forgive you when ever she's ready" orochimaru said putting a hand on Sasuke's shoulder "what if I don't know she doesn't hate me what if I don't know she's not mad at me" Sasuke said hitting the hand off "sometimes what your child needs is different and more important then what you want" orochimaru said making Sasuke look at him "you want forgiveness but she needs time and answers" he said Sasuke sighed not wanting to admit that orochimaru was right Sasuke swallowed his pride thanked orochimaru and left to talk to you when he got home you were in your room trying to change your bandages but failing you heard the creek of your door open you turned to try and grab a weapon but Sasuke moved it "you won't need that it's me" Sasuke said you grumbled as Sasuke grabbed the bandages out of your hands and helped you put them on "I wanna talk to you" he said sitting next to you on your bed causing you to sighed "what is it" you asked "I think you deserve some answers on why I am always so distant" he said hearing this you perked up a little bit "I've done it to protect you and make the wrongs i've done in my life right but without realizing I hurt you instead of protecting you" Sasuke said you nodded "when I was younger I was full of rage twords itachi because he killed our family so I left the village and joined up with orochimaru who was not a good person back then but it was after itachi was killed I found out the village forced him to kill them in blind rage I turned against the leaf village and if it weren't for Naruto I'd be very dead or in jail right know because he was a hero after the war and he kept me out of jail and ever since then I've been working hard to help the village but I lost sight of what really mattered my family and I haven't been able to find out how to make things right with you but I had a idea of how to make it up to sarada and I know that doesn't fix things and I'm so sorry" he said holding your hands in his "I didn't mean to hurt you so much I'm so sorry" he said as you felt his tears fall onto your hands you were shocked that he was crying "no matter how much you might hate me your always gonna be my little girl" he said as he hugged you a sob escaping his lips "I love you so much" he said to you leaving you shocked "I..I love you too dad and I forgive you" you said slowly falling asleep smiling happy to be with your dad
