Him having the upringing he did he had his own issues with suicide and self harm so when you started showing the signs he knew all to well from years of his problems he was pretty sure you were doing the the same thing he did for years starting when he was 6 to as resently as a few weeks ago his fears were put into overdrive when sarada came up to him while he was on a portal "Hello Mr yamanaka" she said to him voice lased with worry "hello sarada is something wrong" he asked the young Uchiha girl "it's y/n she's not herself anymore she's never really smiling anymore, she's more distance towards everyone, and during hot days is always wearing a hoodie I don't know what's going on with her but I'm worried" she said to him making your father even more sure what you were doing "I'll talk to her okay thank you for telling me this" he said before walking off towards his house when he got home he saw your shoes next to the door so he new you were home but it was quiet he walked up to your room where he saw the light from you window creeping in though the cracks in your door he slowly opened your door just as you were about to cut your skin again you looked up at him and drop the kunai making it clater on the ground he started walking up to you but as he moved closer you moved back until you got to the end of the wall he put his hand on your back and took you to the bathroom he grabbed a rag getting it wet with water while you sat on the floor of the bathroom he kneeled in front of you gently taking you hand and slowly cleaning the serface of your arms so he could clean them he felt something dripping onto his hand he put the rag down looking at your tear stained face he wiped your tears as you cried he grabbed the rag again once you calmed down he put hydrogen peroxide on it "this is gonna sting ok" he said you nodded as he gently cleaned your arms and he grabbed bandages and very gently rapped them around your arms making sure they're not to tight as he wrapped the bandages around your pail skin despite his best hopes he knew the scars wouldn't really heal fully because unfortunately you got his skin and when you scar pail skin it never really heals he walked you back to your room and sat next to you on your bed "did something or someone trigger this" he asked you trying to break the silence you shook you head "I..I'm gonna sound crazy but I wanted to feel something because I..I couldn't take the numb feeling anymore" you said thinking he wouldn't understand "you not crazy because I did the same thing" he said to you making you look at him in shock "really" you asked sai nodded he took his jacket off reveling the t shirt underneath that showed the abused and scard skin on his arms some form years ago some from this past month "you're not crazy you're just like I was at your age it's not your fault some people do it to make outside match the inside or some people do it as a stress reliever it's a bad one but they still do it and sometimes people like me and you I assume do it because they've had a hard life" he said you nodded sai put a hand on your face as you teared up "it's ok please don't cry" he said pulling you into a hug "I..I'm sorry" you said crying "it's ok I'm not mad please don't cry baby" he said as you cried into his chest once you stopped crying you looked at him and he kissed your forehead "you can't do this anymore please I know you need your kunai for mission's so I won't take them but please don't do this anymore I can help you I don't want to see you in pain" he said you nodded and started to fall asleep he chuckled and laid down next to you "I love you papa" you said hugging him tightly "I love you too sweetie" he said smiling as the two of you fell asleep you in his arms for the first time since you were only four years old
