Preface

Elijah Walker, a 30 year old businessman and single father of twin boys, Sky and River. Having lost his beloved wife during the birth of his twin babies, which was two years ago, made him completely turn himself away from the world. He became cold hearted person and distant himself from everyone. He busies himself in the work all the time except for when he looks after his babies. Since he lost his wife, he moved from the house where he used to live with her and started living with his parents in their house. During the time when he goes to work, his mother looks after the boys along with the appointed nanny.

Now all his life revolves around the babies and they're his complete life except the empty spot in his heart that can't be filled since he lost his wife. He has money, fame, family, everything but happiness, something he doesn't remember feeling it since losing his wife.

And his mother wishes her son's life gets better and that he be back to living a happy life. She wishes her son marries again so that he'll have a partner and her grand babies will have a mother. For that purpose, she thinks and finally arranges a match for Elijah. Elijah wasn't in favor of the idea and he rejected it right away. But his mother convinced him by giving all the proper reasons as why he needs a partner. Elijah takes his time and thinks. He strongly believes he don't need a partner but he knows his babies need a mother. That one point makes him agree to his mother and to marry again.

Sidney Davies, a 24 years old, just completed his studies and was set on helping his parents in their small bakery called HONEY BAKES. Sidney is a very quiet person and minds his own business without interfering with others. Though he's an introvert, once he gets close to anyone and get the right connection, he'll feel they're his people.

His parents are very caring and loving who worked so hard so that Sidney could study and be in a better place unlike them. His parents wishes him to get a good job and lead a good life. They don't like Sidney working along with them in the bakery as it has hell a lot of work to do but not much of earnings they get in return. After lots of fights and arguments, Sidney finally convinces his parents and work in the bakery along with them.

One day, Mrs. Walker visits the HONEY BAKES where she sees Sidney and likes him immediately by seeing his helpful and great nature. She knows and strongly believes Sidney will be the perfect match for her son and her grand babies. She immediately approaches Sidney's parents and talk to them about the same. However Sidney's parents doesn't agree immediately and they ask for time which Mrs. Walker gives without any problem.

They think thoroughly and see no issue except that Sidney's marriage will be a second marriage. Walker family is a well reputed one, they have own businesses. Mrs. Walker seemed good too. They have never seen any bad news about them, in fact it was always something good that they saw about the Walker family in the news. If Sidney marries Elijah, his life will be great, will be much more better than what they wished for him to be. However they're not sure if Sidney will agree as it's a second marriage and that he has to become a parent as well. They decide to let Sidney take the decision so they discuss the same with him. Seeing how his parents seek so much interest in it and knowing they never take wrong step about his life, Sidney agrees to marry Elijah.

Two people from two different worlds come together to become one for others but not for themselves. Elijah agrees to marry for his babies while Sidney agrees to marry for his parents. How will this marriage change Elijah and Sidney's life? For the better or for the worst? Will their sacrifices remain for the same purpose or will they come to live for one other along the time?
