Chapter Five

Here it is 4:30 and Im waiting for Joey, trying not to be seen. A text pulled me from my thoughts

Joey: Pey Pey hang back, Im going to shower in the lockerroom quick and hopefully everyone will be gone. Your brother is up my ass.

Peyton: Maybe I should just catch a ride with Savannah before she leaves

Joey: No Pey  will you wait for me please

Peyton: How long are you going to take?

Joey: Hopefully no more than half a hour

Peyton: I think maybe I should head home

Joey: Please Pey

Peyton: Fine Im going to go across the street to Starbucks, Im not going to just stand around it looks suspect.

Joey: Fine go in my locker and get some cash

Peyton: I can buy my own coffee

Joey: God Pey you are so difficult, you're my girlfriend arent you?

Peyton: girlfriend??

Joey: Well I want you to be, and I take care of my girl

Peyton: I dont know what to say

Joey: Well yes would be nice

Peyton: Yes! but I can still get my own coffee

Joey: Your fucking difficult now shut that pretty mouth up my locker combo is 24-1-17

Peyton: Shut me up

Joey: Oh baby girl I can, play with me when everyone leaves Ill drag you in here with me

Peyton: All talk

Joey: we'll see, now get some cash and get whatever you want. Order me a Vanilla coffee and I'll drive over and get you.

Peyton: Fine, Think of me when you're in the shower lol. See you in a bit

Joey: Was fully planning on it, ive been all day

I blushed as I read the text and slid my phone into my cheer bag. I headed to the second floor  where all the Junior and Senior lockers were. I knew exactly where Joey's locker was, it was down the hall from mine right next to Matt's. I stopped and looked around to make sure no one was around and walked out. I hated all this sneaking around. I was in the middle of putting in his locker combination when I felt a hand I gasped and turned around,

"Jesus Matty scare me much

my heart slamming in my chest we were caught I just knew it.

"Peyton what are you doing?"

"Umm my locker is full I was going to put my bag in yours"

"Pey thats Joey's locker"

"oh shit it is, Im freakin tired and tried to open the wrong one."

"Uhhuh anyways can you do your favorite big brother a favor?"

"You're my only brother, what you want Matty?"

"Listen Mom is working a double at the hospital and dad's gone at the conference"

"yeah and.."

"I wanted to bring Stacy over"

"Ok?"

"can you I dont know.."

"yeahhh"

"can you find something to do for a couple hours?"
