Pancakes and concessions...

[Hinata pov]

"OH SHIT!"
Well that certainly woke me up...
The air smelt like someone was baking which made me happy Naruto wanted to bake for me...then it smelt like......burning
"Oh no Naruto..."
I ran into the kitchen and saw him about to put out a stove fire with a glass of water
"NARUTO WAIT!!!"
"HUH WHY?"
"JUST LEAVE IT TO ME!"
I quickly pulled a metal lid out of the cabinet and put it over the pan, smothering the flame
"Whew...i'm surprised i even knew where that was"
"Wow..."
"Hmm?" i turned back around to see Naruto looking amazed
"You would make such a good mother"
"..."
"..."
"..."
"Oh...i realise what i just said...ignore me please"
"Ahaha!...dont worry Naruto-Kun i understand, also yeah don't pour water on a grease fire else it will throw flames onto its surroundings" i said laughing loudly at the beginning as i felt at home with Naruto
"Oh really?...god how did i survive without you?"
I giggled at what he said
"Don't worry, i'm here now" i said giving him a soft smile which actually made him blush
"Ill clean up here you go sit at the table and ill make the pancakes" i said to Naruto as i didnt want another house fire to start
"I love you...so much..." he said with admiring eyes watching me
"I love you more than you could know Naruto-Kun"
With that he went and sat at the table as i made some new batter because Naruto dropped it on the floor while starting the fire

[Naruto pov]

I set up the table for both of us to eat and sat on the sofa to wait
*ding dong*
"I'll get it" i yelled to Hinata who was in the kitchen
I opened the door to find Sakura
"h-*yawn*-hey Sakura, whats up"
"OH COME ON NARUTO!"
"Whatt?!? I haven't even done anything yet?..."
"How did it go knucklehead?"
"Oh right well-" i was already smiling just thinking about Hinata
"Who is it Honey?" Hinata said peaking around the corner wearing an apron and whisking the pancake mixture
"Oh its Sakura-"
"Well hello you two!...you look very good together!"
I felt like she was teasing us but i believed what she was saying and i knew it made us blush
"Hehe yeah...it went very well" i replied scratching my head while looking down
"Well that's perfect..., also Tsunade wants you two to report to her office on what's happened"
"I knew she placed a bet on us!"
"Huh?"
"Huh?"
"Well when we were reporting out mission i saw Tsunade give Shizune the look that she does when she's trying to shove something in her face" i said turning to Hinata because it just felt right to say it to her rather than Sakura
"Ah i see, well i'm going to go back to the kitchen then if that's all" she replied to me giving me a bright smile before leaving
"Alright sweetie" i loved her so much
"Also hey Sakura could you-" she was just smiling at us cheerfully
"C-could you set up a get together with everybody at BBQ?"
"Uh yeah sure. What for?"
"Well i want to introduce me and Hinata as a couple to everybody"
"Ah right that makes sense, by the way does Neji know about this?"
"Actually yes he does, he's gonna help me get past the 18 years stage" i said smiling at her
"The 18 years stage?"
"Essentially Hinata is supposed to be Married off to another clan when she turns 18"
"Oh right, makes sense...so what are you going to do?"
I quickly checked if Hinata was watching us and i whispered in Sakura's ear
"Well im gonna marry her before then"
"WHAT!"
"Shh! Shh!" i put my hand in front of her mouth then waited a couple seconds before removing it
"Are you for real?"
"Yes I am. Ill do it in about a year or really just as soon as possible"
"Oh wow Naruto...you really like her'
"Of course i do"
"..."
"..."
She looked at my eyes as if she was trying to figure something out
"Oh my god."
"What?"
"You did it, didn't you!"
"WHAA! N-no...w-why w-would you s-say that"
"Oh my god! You did!"
"Okay fine! just a little...now quiet down!"
"Naruto you better have not done anything to Hinata!"
"I didn't! I didn't!...I don't want to kiss and tell, so don't tell anybody!"
"Fine I won't...but you're gonna have to tell me the details."
"Fine, later , just leave...i wanna enjoy my time with Hina"
"Okay! Okay! Fine! We'll meet everyone at 6 okay?"
"Yeah yeah okay" i said pulling my head away from the door frame before i was pulled back
"Remember Naruto, go see Tsunade after this else it's my problem, which makes it your problem! GOT IT?"
"YES! Can I go now?"
"Fine...have fun"
"I will...Cya"
I closed the door as quietly as I could and started sneaking around the apartment and into the kitchen to see Hinata serving the pancakes onto plates while humming the tune to Jitensha
