The clock ticks.
20 seconds pass, followed by a minute, two - until the hour eventually strikes 21 o' clock.
The bell of the long case clock echoed across the room, overlapping the anxious silence that created these dimly noises in his ear. It had a resemblance with the sound you hear at a pool, when your head was being put under pressure.
Or the sound that occurs before the appearance of your sleep paralysis demon trying to strangle you in the moments you are unable to move.
It was quite an unpleasant feeling.

However, after a sickening time of wait, the chime that Kazuha had awaited for the last 15 minutes finally occured.

He ran to the door, unlocking it without hesitation only to meet the eyes of someone with a height of 2 heads taller than him.
And he couldn't help, but to melt into those mellow eyes that also, devoured his under the beautiful moon tonight.

"Goldfish delivery." The taller built male flashed a cheeky grin, holding up the water filled plastic bag with the one goldfish roaming in it. Kazuha only chuckled, accepting the goldfish with delightment as he whispered back a 'thank you'; putting it on the table behind him.
