Moving on from the darkness [2021 ver.]

11) What's Christmas?

Just a little timeskip from where we were before...

"Crepe, Thank you so much for visiting today. I really hope to see you again tomorrow for Christmas!" Cream Puff waved them goodbye but Crepe didn't walk off, Instead they asked her if she didn't mind walking home with them

"Oh d-do you want me to come walk you home? How come?" Cream Puff asked adjusting her hat slightly

"I'm just... ugh forget it..." Crepe was just about to set off but then Cream Puff grabbed their hand

"Oh no no no no it's fine Crepe! I'll walk to your home with you!" Cream Puff smiled, she had a smile who could calm anyone down just like Snow Sugar. She really made Crepe feel safe even if they didn't want to admit it but even if she did it just didn't feel the same as Snow Sugar

"Thanks..." Crepe muttered very quietly and so they were now off well that was until someone started yelling

"DON'T FORGET YOUR KING!!!! DON'T FORGET YOUR KING!!!" Custard yelled and this only made Crepe snicker, they found Custard pretty funny so why would they just leave him there all on his own? Crepe was just about to set off again when they realised something pretty irritating

"Waitttt... I just realised the walk home is an hour." they said too tired to even want to walk back home

"Wait, where are your siblings that you mentioned about earlier?" Cream Puff started to feel rather concerned for Crepe, where in fact was their siblings? It was supposed to be a simple question but Crepe didn't take it too well

"Well I don't fucking know... I just wandered off because they wouldn't answer the door even though I was home. It's like they just forgot about me completely... but then again that's completely understandable I've done some pretty messed up things I don't want to get too into detail though so I'll leave it there..." Crepe sighed, they really missed how much they used to care about them when they first met, now it just feels like they don't care about them at all.

"I-I'm really sorry to hear that Crepe... Wait if it's fine with you do you mind if I call one of my teachers? She can give you a ride home..." Crepe's head instantly turned to Cream Puff

"REALLY?!?!?" they exclaimed pretty excited despite what had happened before

"Yeah! her name is Latte, she's a really helpful teacher and I'm so grateful to know her!" Cream Puff eyes was filled with joy

"Well sure... Go ahead I guess..." Crepe shrugged, at this point they just wanted to go home they were starting to get extremely bored.

"Oh hello Latte it's me Cream Puff... I'm sorry to bother you but one of my friends needs a lift home... Hmm hmm... Oh yeah sh- WAIT THEY!!! Oh no Crepe I'm so sorry!!!! Anyways they impulsively walked alllll the way over here and... OH YOU WILL? THANK YOU CREPE WILL PROBABLY TELL YOU WHERE IT IS!!! Ok byeee!!!" Cream Puff ended the call and put her phone in her bag "Ok don't worry Crepe she'll be here soon..."

After sometime Cream Puff's teacher finally showed up

"Oh hello there you must be Crepe right?" Latte asked in which Crepe nodded their head "Ok so where do you wanna go?" This question was a bit of a problem... Unfortunately Crepe didn't really know the location of their siblings home

"Do you know where Parfait's home is? That's where I live..." Latte did a double take and looked straight back at Crepe

"Wait Parfait?!?!? That singer many cookies have been talking about recently?" Latte was so in shock, how did Cream Puff find a random ass child who lived with Parfait? "I mean sure I have visited once but I've never met you before?" Crepe then had to explain that they got adopted pretty recently
