ʀᴜʟᴇ ʏᴏᴜʀ ᴍɪɴᴅ ᴏʀ ɪᴛ ᴡɪʟʟ ʀᴜʟᴇ ʏᴏᴜ -ʜᴏʀᴀᴄᴇ

But once the mind does fully take over, one may believe the absurdest lies, such as the following:

-At a certain point in our lives, we lose control and hence are controlled by fate.

-As sailors, we are trapped between the clashing waves of the ocean, trying to stay afloat.


However, the truth is-

Fate does not determine our story.

We are in charge.

We can be who we want to be.

Yes, life may be an ocean full of distractions. It has highs and lows, additions and subtractions. Yet, every ship has a steering wheel. 

You have a choice.

You can passively observe the clashing waves standing at the railing.

Or you can determine the course of your ship.



 Thus, I wrote these poems to remind myself and you to hold on to the steering wheel.

Grab that steering wheel, buddy.
