Part 6: Solar Eclipse

ADI'S POV
Phone Call

"Hello Cads, asan na kayo?" I asked.

"Hello, on the way palang kami ni Gab, si Kane at Emil ata malapit na sa Xylo." Caden replied.

"Hi adi, it's Gab, asan na kayo?" Biglang pagsingit naman ni Gab sa call namin ni Caden.

"As usual hinihintay namin ni Chanty si Jamie. Sina Zoralle at Ivy naman kasama na ni Shayne sa Xylo." I replied.

"Ingat sa pag drive ah. I'll see you later?" Gab replied.

Malamang makikita ko siya, obvious naman kaya sinabi ko nalang na "Okay? Ingat din."

End Call

"Babe, take care of me later ah." Pagbibirong paalala naman ni Chanty habang nasa kotse na kami at nag iintay kay Jamie.

"Syempre naman, para hindi ka umuwing dalawa HAHAHAHA." I jokingly replied.

"Ay grabe ah walang tiwala sa bff." Pagkukunyaring nagtatampo ni Chanty.

"Char lang. Pero ikaw ah, I know na single ka ngayon pero hinay hinay sa boys mamaya." I reminded her.

"Yes ma'am. And pupunta naman tayo doon for Shayne, hindi para gawing dating place yon HAHAHAHA." She replied.

"Baka ikaw dyan Adiel Eadrianne Gutierrez ang makahanap na ng true love, solar eclipse pa man din ngayon, hmm." She added.

"At naniniwala ka pa rin talaga dun sa story na kinwento ni Lola Agos?" I replied while laughing a little.

Lola Agustina or Lola Agos is my great grandmother. She's 91 years old already and it is indeed one of the blessings I will always thank God for. This is because despite her age, she's still happy and healthy celebrating her daily life with us, her family.

"Duh, yes. Ikaw nga yung bilib na bilib dun dati. Yun ata yung pinaka una mong chinika noong nag deep talks tayo back then noong junior high school. Yun din yung araw na nagsimula tayong maging ganito kaclose HAHAHA." She replied.

"Kakilig naman, you remember the little things pala." I replied.

"Because they are the ones that matter the most." Chanty smiled.

"Pero wait, what's with the sudden change of heart? Bakit hindi ka na naniniwala sa When The Sun Meets The Moon story ni Lola Agos?" She asked.

"I don't know. Maybe, because I grew up and realized that you can never base the one you'll love until the end of time from a simple eclipse." I said.

"Wow. Lalim nun ah pero ang bitter din HAHAHA. What's wrong with believing in love, Adi? The most unexpected and profound love that nothing ang no one can ever break." She asked again.

"Hay nako, Chantrea Ameera Salazar, iinom nalang natin yan mamaya ah." I jokingly replied again.

After that talk with Chanty, Jamie arrived and I started driving for us to get to Xylo already since nakakahiya naman kay Shayne to be late for her birthday.

And of course hindi maiiwasan ang traffic, pinas ata to.

While we're stuck in traffic I have thought about the story, When The Sun Meets The Moon. Ang naaalala ko unang kinwento sakin yun ni Lola Agos noong 4 years old ako. That time, they said I can never sleep if she will not be able to read it to me.

When The Sun Meets The Moon is a story about a man and a woman who are totally the opposite of the other and have never crossed paths in each of their lives. Not until one night, the first solar eclipse came. That night, the man was about to die because of an accident. The accident was about him being ran over by a car.
