Mia is Anita's sister, and recently moved to to America with Maria. She wants to make a life for herself there, but what happens when a certain jet walks into her life?

"Mia wake up" screams Anita from the Kitchen for the 5th time this morning.
Mia not even barley woken up yet lazily drags herself out of bed. Slides on her slippers and walks into the kitchen to where Anita is making breakfast.
"I'm up I'm up, now what do you want?" questions Mia.
"I've been calling you for the past hour where have you been" Anita says while dragging her to the table.
"durmiendo hasta que tu grito me despierte" - translation - "sleeping until your scream woke me up" says Mia miserable.
"English, English, we need to practice and look at the time it's 9 am."
Mia doesn't say anything and rolls her eyes.
Anita looks at Mia like she's about to say something but doesn't. Which made Mia more annoyed.
"Antia what were you gonna say" asks Mia.
"Well I was gonna give you money to get a dress for the dance next week but with your attitude I don't know anymore" Antia says with her hands on her hips.
Mia's eyes open so big they looked like they were gonna pop out and instantly regretted her attitude.
"No no no please Antia I'm sorry like really sorry let me go out please" begged Mia.
"Uh huh sure your sorry, but go I need to clean this place anyways" she says waving her spoon around while she talks.
"Gracias, gracias, your the best" Mia says and runs up to her sister to give her a kiss, then rushes to her room to get ready.

With black short heels and her wavy brown hair down with a black headband.
After Mia is done getting ready she is so excited to leave. Not just because she is getting to pick out her own dress but she gets to go out.
Antia and Bernardo never let her go out or tell her anything about his so called "gang." As much as Mia loves Bernardo, even like a brother, the whole gang thing is to much for her.
As Mia walks out she sees Bernardo and Antia swooning in the kitchen which makes her mentally throw up. Before they could notice she was there she took the money on the table and rushed out of the apartment.
Walking down the streets of NYC by herself is a little scary but she is excited at the same time. She liked the fact that they moved here just as Maria does.
Her and Maria have been the best of friends even before Bernardo and Antia started dating back in Puerto Rico. Maria and her brother were family to Mia and even when they all get into fights they love each other and moving to NYC was a fresh start for them.
Mia wanted to make a life for herself here even if they kept her held up in that little apartment.
As she walks down the streets she see's a group of American boys all laughing, pushing each other, and messing around which instantly made her uncomfortable but still was gonna walk past them.
As she's walking past them they didn't pay much notice to her probably because she is Puerto Rican, all expect one.
He was tall at least 6 ft, way taller then her considering she's 5,5. He was quite handsome in her opinion.
He kept looking at her and once he realized she was looking at him back he gave her a cheeky smirk and winked at her. That made Mia's cheeks heat up and started walking away faster then before.
Who could that boy be? All she could think about was him all the way to the dress shop.
