{Michael}

There was a strange smell in the air. I was in the kitchen trying to make some sort of a nice dinner for the guys. After Luke and Ashton finally started talking again last week, I wanted to do something special for all of us. To celebrate us all being friends again. I've been in here all day, slaving away. My mum would be so proud of me.

One tiny problem though, the smell was coming from the kitchen somewhere and I couldn't place it. I think something is burning, I just don't know what. I don't have enough hands. As I was checking the oven, the pans were boiling over. When I tried to check the pans, I burnt my hand on one of the lids, dropping it onto the counter making the bottles there fall. This was a fucking disaster.

I turned off everything, and huffed. This is why I don't cook. I got on my knees, pulling the bin over to me and started to throw the broken bottles and bits of food, that had fallen off the counter, into it. Once I was done, I sat with my back to the wall with my eyes closed. I didn't even hear the door open.

"What the fuck happened in here?" Ashton asks from the doorway.

"Holy shit." Calum laughs, standing behind him.

"Fuck off," I huff, crossing my arms over my chest, "I was trying to do something nice for you guys."

"Smells a bit funny in here." Calum says, sniffing at the air.

"Shut up," Ashton whispers harshly, hitting him on the arm, "why were you cooking for us, Mike?" Ashton walks into the kitchen, looking at all the pans with the destroyed food inside them.

"I just thought it'd be nice, since we're finally all talking again." I looked down sadly.

"You didn't have to do all this, you know?" Ashton sits down next to me, "we could of just ordered a pizza."

"But that's not the point, is it? You and Luke are finally talking after however many months. Calum's all sex mad with Soph, Evie's got her dancing, you're all happy and shit with your stuff. All I've got is you guys and fucking video games." I say in aggravation.

"Am I not enough?" Calum clutches his chest, "I feel so attacked right now." He pretends to sob.

"You know that's not what I mean, dickhead." I laugh lightly.

"Where is this coming from, Michael?" Ashton sighs sadly, looking at me.

"I'm just lonely, I guess." I shrug.

"You'll find someone, Mikey, don't be sad," Ashton wraps his arm around me in comfort, "it just takes a little time to find that someone."

"Yeah, man. Don't let it get you down." Calum smiles, sitting on the other side of me.

"I haven't had sex in over a year." I say in frustration.

"Why the fuck not?" Calum says in shock.

"I don't know. No one has really caught my eye, I guess." I say with a shrug.

"Oh, you're having a dry spell. I've heard of those." Calum nods.

"You're a fucking dick." I say to him, annoyed that he's not taking my situation seriously.

"It's not all about sex." Ashton sighs, swatting Calum on the back of the head before he gets to say anything.

"Do you want to know who I really miss?" I ask them quietly.

"Who?" Calum asks.

"I miss Evie." I sigh.

"What do you mean?" Ashton says quickly, "you guys are together all the time."

"Yeah, and we all went to dinner like two weeks ago." Calum adds.
