just me and my shadow
walking side by side
only you could make up
for all the broken parts
the dark is reaching
i wanna lift my hand
slowly letting it in
and forgetting what you said
never mind, nerves are shaking
who am i, the voice is shouting
light and sound, still overwhelming
empty eyes, i'm slowly fading
another night
didn't get to sleep with all those
thoughts inside
the pieces of my mind are breaking
my demon might
want to scream at me for leaving
all my heart
behind with all these memories
and here i found
the joy of dying
in your arms
the words you're breathing
are made of glass
my body's numbing
this wouldn't last
my heart is stopping
and stills my past
