Sage's POV:

It's been about 3 weeks since Georgie and I kissed and we have been talking quite a bit.

Another game had just ended and Georgie was walking me home like he had done the past 3 weeks.

"Sage?" Georgie said out of the blue

"Georgie" I replied

"I was wondering if you'd like to come to my house and meet my family?" he said quite fast, probably thinking i'd say no

"of course i would" i smiled

Georgie let out a deep breath and smiled back at me.

"how about on Sunday night for dinner?" he suggested

"it's a date" i said as we stopped in front of my house

"okay great, see you then" he said

He slowly walked closer to me and kissed me for a few seconds, then pulled away.

"i'll pick you up at 7:30, okay?" he asked

"okay" i agreed

I watched him walk away to his house then I ran inside smiling. I couldn't wait.

Georgie's POV:

I walked into the kitchen whena at I got home to talk to my mom.

"hey mom, can one of my friends come for dinner on Sunday?"

"would this friend be a girl?" my mom said excitedly, using finger quotes over the word friend.

"is that a yes?" i said impatiently not really wanting to have this conversation with her

"fine, but you have to tell me all about her, okay?"

"yeah, yeah, whatever" i said walking to my room.

Sage's POV:a

It was 7:25 Sunday night and i still hadn't chosen what to wear. I decided on a black satin dress and black high top converse.

I heard the door bell ring a few minutes later and i ran down stairs excitedly. I opened the door to see Georgie standing outside.

"holy shit" he gapped looking me up and down.

"thank you" i said grabbing my jacket.

"you look really pretty" he said nervously

"thanks, you look pretty too" i smiled at his awkwardness

"thanks beautiful" he said making
me blush, but i couldn't let him know that he made me blush so i looked down at me feet

"shall we?" he said

"we shall" i said starting to walk.

We got to his house abs he opened the door. I was met with his smiling family gathering together.

"so nice to finally meet you Sage, i've heard so much about you" Mrs. Cooper said bringing me in for a hug

"Lovely to meet you too Mrs. Cooper"

"oh please, call me Mary" she insisted

I met the rest of his family since i didn't know them. Of course I knew Sheldon, Mr. Cooper and Missy, but not that well. I had never spoken to Sheldon before and I only knew Mr. Cooper because he was a gym teacher at my school, but he wasn't my gym teacher so i had only spoken to him a couple of times. I knew missy quite well since she came to my house quite a lot for Chloe.

We were having dinner when Mary started a conversation with me.

"so Sage, we're you born in Texas?"

"Born and raised" i replied proudly

"I'm sure you're mother loves having two girls" she joked

"yeah she loves it, my dad always wanted a boy though" i said

"You're lucky you don't have a brother" Missy said

"well i did have a brother but he died just after he was born" i said

"oh, Sage, i am so sorry" Mary said sadly

"Oh, that's okay, he's in a better place now" i said

"amen" Mary said

We had finished dinner, I said goodbye to their family and Georgie and I started to walk back to my house.

"they seem nice" i said to him smiling

"you wouldn't say that if you lived with them" he said

i lightly laughed

"hey, can i show you something?" he said

"sure" i said

"we walked for another 10 minutes until we got to a huge field with a treehouse in the middle of it.

"woah" i said admiring the colours of the sunset sky

"thanks for tonight, i had a lot of fun" i said turning to face Georgie

"yeah, me too actually" said Georgie placing his hands on my waist.

I wrapped my arms around his neck and leaned in slowly. Our lips met each other and I pulled him in closed. We were kissing for
a few minutes until he moved his hands down a bit, and you can guess where they went.

I pulled away and walked towards the treehouse. i climbed the ladder and sat on the roof, admiring the now stary sky. Georgie joined me and we fell asleep under the stars together.
