Night Howl
As you step from the shower, my hearts afire
Here, in my ivory tower, I can hear the choir
Wrapped in a towel, you are the perfect Christmas present
The wolf in me wants to howl, at a gift heaven sent
As I bow my head, tears wheal in my eyes
The mirror turns red. my world is full of sighs
It was just a reflection, of a happy memory
There are so many in my collection, not all so complimentary

We should have stayed at home, sat in front of a burning log fire
But like fools, we strayed into the fog, it was dire
It is a full moon, we get the scent
Our hunt for prey does not relent
Unaware that the price is too high
Unseen, through the mist, a silver arrow pierces her thigh
Setting forth a curse, for which there is no remedy
Now my visions of you, only exist in my memory
