Gasps were heard,mostly the ones heard were Mitsuri's.

Everyone was surprised.

Who thought that someone had to go in a suicide mission?

No one.

Once the Hashiras calmed down,Sanemi spoke.

"I'm sorry,but what?"

Kagaya sighed again and replied, "I am sorry but I can only say the details to the one who would volunteer themselve to go in this mission."

"Master..! W-we can't lose anyone here! Is there some way we can do this together?" Mitsuri suggested.

"That's a great idea...Mitsuri." Kagaya smiled,and the others were relieved. Now,no one would lose their lives.

The meeting sooner ended and the decision was made. Two Hashiras will go to this 'dangerous' mission. It will be decided by the master.

Everyone left the room,going to their own homes to train. But,Shinobu was not satisfied with the decision.

It was finally nighttime,Giyuu was now heading to a mission he was assigned to. He was just about to head out,until Shinobu catched up to him. "Tomioka-san!"

Giyuu stopped and turned around,to see Shinobu smiling at him. "What is it,Kochou?"

"What do you think about the decision?"

"It's okay...At least we will not lose someone."

Shinobu nodded slowly, "What if you and Sanemi were the ones chosen to go to this mission? Don't you guys despite each other?"

"I'll just make it work. But who even knows if I'm going to be the one chosen." Giyuu coldly said and left.

"You're cold as ever...Tomioka-san." Shinobu smiles once again before going back to the Butterfly Mansion.

Three days have passed,the Hashiras busy as ever. It was now 8 pm in the night,Giyuu getting ready to hunt demons again.

Shinobu had just finished a mission yesterday night,and she had one assigned today.

Aoi saw her in her room,writing some kind of diary. "Shinobu-san, don't you have a mission today?"

Shinobu looked at her, "I do,Aoi. I'll just finish writing this and head out soon."

Aoi smiled at her kindness, "I see. Take care,Shinobu-san! I will be cleaning the mansion tonight."

"Thank you for your help. I appreciate it very much!" Shinobu warmly smiled to her and continued writing.

"It's nothing, Shinobu-san! It's my pleasure. I will now leave,excuse me." She politely said goodbye and left Shinobu's sight.

Once she was out of her sight,she thought about how Shinobu was being strange lately. But she shrugged it off and continued her work.

Shinobu was now heading out,but before that,she told Kanao to train tomorrow since she'll be watching her training. Kanao agreed and told her to take care.

When she was leaving, she saw Giyuu heading out for his mission. She immediately ran up to him,making him jump.

"Tomioka-san! Do you have a mission too?" She said walking beside him. "Yeah...."

Shinobu had nothing to talk about anymore,so she put her hands behind her back and hummed softly. "...Kochou?"

Shinobu looked at him, "Yes, Tomioka-san?"

"Are Tanjiro and his friends doing good?" She was disappointed,she thought he will ask something more entertaining,but guessed it was better than the silence. "They are doing good! Sooner, they'll be out going to their own missions."

Giyuu nodded, ".....Why do you insist on following- well, hanging out with me...?"

Shinobu was entertained for the first time, 'finally,he asked something personal!'

She smirked playfully and decided to play with him. "I am not hanging out with you. I just simply feel bad because you don't have anyone to hang out with,and you don't have any friends."

Giyuu's jaw dropped.

"I see." He coldly said and ran faster,leaving the girl. Shinobu's eyes shot wide open, "Tomioka-san! Wait!"

He ignored her and kept walking,but Shinobu catched up later on. "I was kidding, Tomioka-san!" She laughed between pants.

He ignored her once again, "Tomioka-san!! I'm sorry!" She was basically dying of laughter now,and Giyuu can only scoff. "I hang out with you because I think you're really entertaining, Tomioka-san! And I would love to spend the rest of my life with-" She was cutted off by her thoughts.

'what the hell am i saying?! he probably thinks I'm weird now!'

"I mean- Just pretend I didn't say that." She quietly gulped. "Okay. I'll see you tomorrow." He bluntly said and left her. Shinobu sighed and blamed herself for pissing him off,but she never knew that,

He was blushing the whole time.
