Touyas POV:
Ren, Keigo and I all make jokes throughout the movie, but Misheru is pretty quiet. Not surprising seeing that she's had such a rough day
I can't believe that asshole thought id be on his side after literally admitting to cheating on her, on top of the other things she told us
As the credits roll for the movie, I look down and realize that she's asleep on me
I really don't wanna wake her up or mover her...
Keigo stretches out his wings before announcing he's about to leave, Ren following him so he could get a ride home
"You gonna bring her back to Karos?" Ren says, whispering and gesturing to Misheru
"Uh, maybe yeah. I might just let her stay here for the night. I'm sure my folks won't mind."
Ren does a comically large wink before giggling to himself a bit
"Ha ha ha very funny. Drive safe idiots. Night"
"G'night" they both say in unison before stepping out the front door
I look down at her and realize this is the most relaxed I've ever seen her. Once you see someone truly relaxed, you realize how tense they usually are
Normally, her shoulders are a bit tensed up, her brows a little furrowed, her jaw clenched
But right now, it's just bliss
Apparently while I was admiring her peacefulness, my mom snuck into the room, as I hear the floor creak to my right and look over
My mom is standing there in her pajamas, doing a little hand wave
"She alright?" Mom says, quietly approaching
"Boyfriend cheated on her. She's not doin too good, but she's a lot better than she was earlier. Would it uh...would it be okay if she stayed the night?"
Mom reaches over, grabbing the big blanket that's thrown over the back of dads recliner and drapes it over us before dimming the living room lights
"Goodnight sweetie"
I readjust myself a bit to get more comfortable, but it causes her to move a bit. She ends up scooching up more, her head now on my chest and her arms holding me around the waist. He cheek is squished against my chest and she's laying a little awkwardly, but she still seems oddly comfortable
I pull out my phone, scrolling through Instagram for a bit before realizing I should let Karo know she's staying the night here.
After shooting her a quick text, I feel myself starting to drift off
I place a hand on Misherus back and let the other rest at my side before finally falling asleep

Misherus POV:
I wake up to the smell of coffee and stretch out a little bit before taking in my surroundings dings and realizing where I am
The feeling of a hand on my back reminds me that I'm laying on someone
When I look up at him, he's using his other hand to hold his phone, presumably scrolling through it. Looking down , he smiles at me and rubs his hand on my back a little
"Hey, how'd you sleep?"
I sit myself up, stretching as I do before replying
"I slept really good honestly. I'm sorry I fell asleep on you, I hope you weren't uncomfortable"
"Don't worry about me, I slept fine. Also, just so you know, Karo said she wants me to keep you occupied for the day because she's gonna be pretty busy I guess. So uh, anything you wanna do?"
I shrug, looking around and again realizing I don't have my phone
"Looking for this? Karo dropped it off earlier, she already went in and blocked his number, his families phone numbers, and deleted all the pictures and everything involving him." He says, pulling my phone out of his pocket and handing it to me
I hit the button to unlock my phone and see that the lock screen and home screen have been changed to pictures of me with the rest of the group, minus my ex.
I smiled a bit before opening it up to text a few of my friends that aren't in the group to let them know what's going on.
"Do you like pancakes and eggs sweetie?" I hear Touyas mom say from the kitchen
"I love both"
After eating breakfast with Touya and his family, Touya suggested we go to the mall and walk around
I agreed and he let me borrow some of his clothes so I wasn't stuck in the clothes I had been wearing the day before
We hop in his car and he invites me to connect to the Bluetooth and play whatever music I want
I, of course, wanted to play my "angry" music, so as we drove the mall, Ghostemane blared from the car speakers
He didn't seem bothered by it, he just sang along with me
Once we got to the mall, we walked around aimlessly, him leading me into any stores where something seemed to catch my eye
"What did you see that you liked?" He asked, looking around
"Oh, I've been looking for a bikini and this one over here just looked really cute" I say, pointing at a black bikini with red koi fish outlines all over it
"Wanna get it?" He asks
"I do, but I'll probably have to wait a few months so I can save for it or see if I get enough money for my birthday" I say, looking through the hangers to see if they have my size so I could hide it elsewhere in the store. I knew the things here could be overpriced, but $70 for a bikini?
"Do you want it now?"
I look up to him with a confused look and then realize what he's implying
"Oh, you don't have to get it for me. My birthday is in a week, I can just wait til then to see if I get enough fo-"
"Early birthday present. What size?"
I hesitate before picking out the matching top and bottoms in my sizes before looking up to him again for reassurance
He gently takes the hangers and smiles, walking to the register and paying without another word
After that, we walk around the mall, going into a bunch of other stores
While I'm the fancy makeup store, I noticed it looked like he was taking a picture of me
"Touya, did you just take a picture of me?"
He looked like a deer in headlights before spitting out an answer
"I uh, I was just sending a Snapchat to Karo, showing her where we are"
Yeah, I'm not buying it, but I don't feel like investigating
I grab a few items that I've either wanted to try or know I like before checking out, trying to spy on Touya the whole time
Lastly, we go to a newer store in the mall where I spot a black sundress with sunflowers on it, and it's in my size. I contemplate it for a moment
"That'd look really nice on you" I hear Touya say quietly from my right, inches from my ear
"I know"  I say, grabbing my size and walking to the register
Might as well treat myself for my birthday, and since the stores so new they've got super low prices
After the store, Touya insists on buying us smoothies
Smoothies in hand, we head to the car and back to his house
His mom excitedly asks what I got and I show off all of my new items, catching Touya smiling whenever her or I get excited or giddy
We head to his room and I sit on his gaming chair while he plops down onto his bed
"So, what now?" I ask
"Well, it's about 7 now, lemme text someone real quick."
Damn, I didn't realize how long we'd been out and about
After a minute or so, I hear a message ding from his phone and he smiles
"Alright, grab your stuff, we're headed somewhere"
"Uhh okay, where?" I ask, standing up and grabbing my bags
"It's a surprise"
And just like that, we're out the door again
