17| Memories

Larson's P.O.V:

I felt the light from the windows hitting my eyes forcing them to shut and trying to turn away from it. But I felt something move in my arms causing my eyes to open.

I looked down and saw my little sister cuddling into my side with her hair all of the place causing me to lightly chuckle. Staring at her just made my mind go back to the day she was taking away from us, most importantly me.

Flashback to 9- year- old Larson:

It was a normal day, mama had made everyone breakfast chocolate chip pancakes. We were having family day we would watch movies, play games, and so much more. After breakfast, it was time for Xenia's nap so I stayed in the room with her. All of my brothers were outside playing football and soccer (trying to play), I didn't want to be to far from her. What if she cried and needed me and I wasn't there.

Mama came in the room and started packing a lot of Xenia in a bag

"Mama, what are you doing?" I asked

She jumped almost not realizing that I was in the room

"uh..uh... We are going on a vacation so I am packing her bags, but shhh don't tell your brothers it's a secret" she said as she put her finger to her lips shushing me

"okay mama I won't tell no one" I said giggling

hours later.........

Mama, me, and all of my siblings were sitting on the couch watching a movie when mamas phone rang

"hello.....yes I am ready everything is packed, you just have to come"

I thought she was talking to papa so I stopped listening

Then I heard loud banging, and I remember what papa said when you hear banging like that you take your siblings and hide them under something. So I did, under all of the blankets, and pillow.

I heard Xenia cry forcing me to get out from under all of the pillows and blankets because I was not leaving her behind she is my favorite. When I got out from under I saw mama talking to two guys and handing over Xenia to one of them.

"Mama" I whispered but she didn't hear me

"Mama" I whispered again but louder and she heard me

"go back under the blankets, now Larson"

Uh oh mama is angry but I didn't do anything

"No mama come hide with us, and away from the bad guys" still whispering

Before I could even realize what was happening sharp hard came flying at my face faster than I could blink. Mama slapped me, hard.

The two other men in the room started laughing at me saying

"Wow she just slapped the little boy"

"Little boy go back to hiding"

They started walking out of the house with all of Xenia's stuffing leaving the other 8 of just alone

"Mama where are you going? Why are leaving us?" I cried

"Because I am done with this stupid family, it's always the 'shipment' or 'the kids' or 'the mafia'. All I wanted to was money and the fame and I didn't even get that" She yelled at me and walked out of the house with the men leaving us

I ran to papa's office found his emergency phone and called him

"Hello"

"P-pa-papa" I cried into the phone
