Chpt.1:Moana's Introduction

[Once upon a time, in a far away village past the mountains of Columbia, there lived a King and Queen.One day the Queen gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, a princess, the King decided to name her Moana and the Queen nicknamed her "Snow White" because of her beautiful fair skin.The whole Island celebrated her birth by having a festival with food and music.Years went by and the princess was 5 years old.Her father and mother were strolling around the village and saw their daughter singing to herself because she didn't have any friends except toucans,hummingbirds, frogs and other wild animals.The Queen decided to talk to her daughter.]
Queen:Moana, why aren't you playing with the other kids in the village?
Moana:It's not that I don't want to play with them, it's just...I'm not like them.
Queen:What do you mean?
Moana:They're normal but I'm the only one who has the power to attract others with my voice.
Queen:Sweetheart, you may have powers but you are just as human as everyone else.Don't you think there could be others out there who could have powers like you?
Moana:No
Queen:Well, there is.
Moana:Really?
Queen:Yes.A family.
Moana:A family?Who are they?
Queen:They are called the Madrigals.Many years ago a special, magical candle blessed their family with a miracle.
Moana:A magical candle?
Queen:That's right,it all started with a young woman named Alma and her three children.It was the candle that not only blessed them with a miracle but gave each of them their own gifts.And as those kids got older their children-
Moana:Earned gifts too?
Queen:*chuckles* Yes. And so...The Madrigals have used their Gifts to help others in need.
Moana:What are their names, mother?
Queen:Well first theirs Abuela Alma and her three children:
-Julieta has the gift of healing the sick and injured by cooking well known recipes.Pepa who shows the weather no matter her emotion is, good or sad.Bruno can give people visions of the future
Moana:Ooh
-Pepa is married to her husband Félix Madrigal and have three children, Dolores is their older daughter, her Gift is she can hear the tiniest of noises in far away places,Camilo is the middle child and he can shape-shift into anyone,Antonio is the youngest and he was just born today.
Moana:Awww.
Queen:Julieta is married to her husband Agustín Madrigal and have three daughters.Luisa is the middle child,her Gift is super strength.Isabela is the oldest child, her gift is making flowers blossom wherever she goes.Mirabel is the youngest and she didn't get her Gift yet.
Moana:Will I ever meet the Madrigals mother?
Queen:*chuckles* Maybe someday you will meet them, sweetheart.
[Soon it was nighttime and Moana couldn't stop thinking about the Madrigal family and their amazing Gifts.Just as she was still wondering and wondering Moana's mother walked in to tuck her in and asked her to sing a lullaby to her]
Moana:Mother,will you sing me a lullaby please?
Queen:Of course sweetie.
[The Queen sat on Moana's bed and began to sing]

Life is just a bright sunny day

All the world seems to waken anew

When the raindrops come tumbling

Queen:Goodnight,Moana
[Moana was finally asleep.The King was watching his wife tuck in their daughter as the Queen gave her a goodnight kiss and quietly crept out of the room. Moana, who was asleep, dreamt about what it would be like to meet the Madrigals. 10 years later Moana was finally 15 years old.She was on the terrace of her room looking around her beautiful kingdom remembering all the things her mother told her before she mysteriously disappeared.Her widowed father,the King, still felt that she needed a mother's care.And so he married again, choosing for his second wife a queen from another kingdom named Queen Valentina who was also widowed.As Queen Valentina entered the kingdom everyone bowed to their new Queen, then Moana walked into the throne room]
King:Moana, my daughter.
Moana:Hello father.
[Moana hugs her father]
Moana:Is my new mother here?
King:Yes she's excited to meet you.
[As Moana and her father were in the Queen's presence they both bowed,then Moana looked up at her and smiled at her stepmother.But the Queen just sneered at her then began to smile at her]
Queen Valentina:Ah. My beautiful step daughter, Moana.
Moana:Hello, your majesty.
Queen Valentina:Please, call me mother.
Moana:Yes, mother.
[Moana loved her new mother already but doesn't know her dark secret, she's full of so much witchcraft and evil she uses a magical mirror that speaks to her.As the days went by it was the King's time to go to battle, sadly he never returned.Days later the whole Kingdom mourned for the loss of their King.Moana,who was forced to be a maid by her stepmother,felt alone but had her little animal friends to keep company whenever she was sad.One day the Queen went to her mirror.]
Queen Valentina: Slave in the Magic Mirror, come from the farthest space.
(as she speaks, the wind blows fiercely inside the mirror)
Queen Valentina:Through wind and darkness, I summon thee. Speak!
(a thunderclap sounds, and a wildfire consumes her reflection)
Queen Valentina:Let me see thy face.
(The fire subsides, revealing the face of the mirror's spirit, eagerly but patiently awaiting whatever questions his mistress may have)
Magic Mirror: What wouldst thou know, my Queen?
Queen Valentina:Magic Mirror on the wall, who is the fairest one of all?
Magic Mirror: Famed is thy beauty, Majesty. But hold, a lovely maid I see. Rags cannot hide her gentle grace. Alas, she is more fair than thee.
(Annoyed that one maiden dares to opponent her beauty,Valentina becomes worried and crosses her arms)
Queen Valentina:Alas for her! Reveal her name!
Magic Mirror:Luscious chestnut lips. Her Long black hair.Her beautiful skin, smooth and fair.
(Queen Valentina silently gasps to herself, as her worst fears of her stepdaughter's beauty exceeding her own have eventually come to pass)
Queen Valentina: (frustrated) Moana!
