Like, how did a bunch of caveman Unga Bungas suddenly become what I'm typing on this computer? How did we decide that one sound meant this, and another sound meant something else? And how did all of human communication history culminate into there being a word that meant: "the fear that somewhere, somehow, a duck is watching you."
Yes, you read that right.That's what Anatidaephobia is. I don't know how this came to be or how there are enough people with this fear for it to have it's own word, but it's a thing.
Now, I'm going to go and sleep for the next week because I've officially received enough external stimuli to satisfy me for the next 100 years.
