"It's rude to stare..." A voice mumbled lowly, softly... and with a feminine tone.
Snapping back into reality, his eyes quickly darted and focused on the source of the sound - the sleepy face of the very man he had been so lost deep in thought about.
"I-" he coughed and cleared his throat, looking away from him in embarrassment. "...I'm sorry..."
He laughed softly, sliding off the stool and placing his hand on his shoulder.
"It's alright, really. I'm just glad you're home safe." he smiled at him with still traces of sleep in his eyes.
"You know, I sometimes come home late... you didn't have to stay up waiting for me..." he told him, his voice lacking the strength of how he normally spoke.
Tae shrugged his shoulders, smiling still cheerfully at his childhood friend.
"And you know just as well that I can't sleep knowing you're still out there. I will be just fine." Tae
