Peter and I went for a swing through the city. Happiness flowing through us both, having found out answers we'd be looking for our whole lives. Sure they weren't completely happy answer's but it was enough to give us each some closure. I couldn't help all the thought's running though my mind and I wanted to get it all out now. So, we landed on the top of the Manhattan Bridge.

"I love you." I breathed happily to Peter. "You know, I've been thinking a lot about what you've been saying. And no offense but you're wrong." I laughed softly.
"What?" He scoffed playfully. "About what?"
"The fact that we've been on different path's trying to find our way back to the same one. We've always been on the same path and your path is my path. We are meant to do this and be this together, forever just the two of us. I know I always say there's a million reason's we shouldn't be together. I'm alway's trying to push you away. But I want you to know, I don't regret a single second of letting you into my life like this. We all have to make a choice, and I made mine a long time ago. It just took me a while to realize it. I've chosen you and I love you, Peter Parker."
"You're amazing you know that?" Peter smiled. "I love you too, Catherine Barrett."
Peter kissed me passionately as we stood on the top of the Manhattan bridge together. Enjoying our time and moment together.

It was quickly ruined as the entire city's power started flickering in and out. We held onto each other as we watched.
"What the hell is that?" Peter asked.
A large explosion at the power grid cause a massive outage all over the city. We looked on at the grid seeing a large blue electric light coming together.
    "Is that Max?" Peter asked.
"He must have cut the power to the entire city." I furrowed my brow as we watched the sparks and power blow out everywhere. "There must some kind of black out plan, right? Some kind of back up?"
"There's an emergency reset at the power plant. If he cuts the transmission lines, they're never gonna get this back up." Peter said worriedly.
"How am I gonna stop him?" I sighed. "Every time I get close to him, he fries my web shooters."
"Have you tried grounding them?" Peter asked curiously.
"Have I tired grounding?" I mocked. "Of course I tired grounding them. I tried everything. Rubber, plastic..."
"Well, miss smarty pant's did you try magnetizing them?" Peter raised an eyebrow at me and I looked up at him.

"I did....n't try that. I didn't try magnetizing them." I shook my head looking up at Peter's face.
"Okay, well, remember eighth grade science class? If you magnetize a nail with a battery..."
"It hold's an electric charge. Science class. Wow, I cannot believe I forgot about that."
He smirked devilishly at me and I lightly hit his arm. I grabbed his waist and he wrapped his arm's around me, allowing us to swing down to the power grid.

"There's no need for panic." An officer with a bullhorn was trying to calm the screaming running people on the streets. "Everyone, please return to your vehicles. Go back to your cars. Remain calm. Do not panic. Everyone return to your vehicles. Go to your homes."
We swung in behind him and ran up to the Officer.
"Officer!" I shouted. I ran up in my full suit.
"Spider-Woman!" He shouted in the bullhorn right at my face.
"Whoa!" I said walking away covering my ear's trying to regain my hearing.
"Listen, we need jumper cables." Peter asked the officer who looked at him like he was crazy.
    "Jumper cables?"
    "Yes, and copper wire."
I walked back over to them.

"AM I TALKING LOUDER THAN I USUALLY TALK RIGHT NOW?" I asked in what seemed like a normal tone. Peter and the officer looked at me weirdly.
    "Yes." Peter said.
"WHOA! WOO!" I shook my head trying to shake out the ringing.

After a few minutes, the officer helped Peter set up everything to the NYPD car battery.
"Your suit is going to ground you, so don't worry." Peter said in reassure as he hooked my shooter's up.
"All right, let's do it." I nodded. The officer started the car, Peter held the jumper cable's to my wrists on the web shooters. "Okay, okay. Good. Now try." He placed it on my wrist and it worked. "Okay, good it works."
    "Perfect." Peter smiled.
An electric current, made a sign spark and start to fall from it's hangin spot on the building.
    "Oh, boy. I gotta go."
"I'm coming with you." Peter said and I whipped around looking at him.
"Peter, you are not coming with me." I said seriously.
    "Yes, I am."
"Peter, no way. This is too dangerous."
"I'm coming with you." He said sternly. "I've seen the grid specs and I know how to reset the entire system."
    "Peter!" I argued.
    "I'm coming with you!"
"All right, okay." I put my hand's up to stop our yelling. "Let's shut the thing. Shut the hood." I spoke to Peter and I walked around the car.
He shut the hood and I quickly webbed his hand's to it.
"I'm sorry! I love you! Don't hate me!" I called back to him as I ran off toward's the power grid.
"CATE!" Peter screamed frustrated, only to quickly cover his mouth after realizing what he'd said.

All over the city the outage's were effecting everyone. Hospital's with no back up energy, plane's flying blind in the sky with no communications back to the ground. Accident's without traffic light's. Every which was you turned there was chaos. And at the center of it all was a large blue glow. Electro.

I swung in toward's the tower, as large electric charges were being throw every which way. People of the ground screaming and trying to escape them without being hit. I landed on a large water tower and watched as the electricity along the building converged, making an image. It was electro's face and he spoke.
"Do you see me now, Spider-Woman?" His powerful voice growled. "It's time to meet our destiny."

The charge flew from one building to the next and I followed him, swinging through the dark city, only his light guiding the way. The light led me to the clock tower. I crawled up to the top of the glass roof and perched myself there.
"You're too late, Spider-Woman." Electro appeared on the ground in some kind of new suit that was helping him channel his energy and contain it. "I designed this power grid. Now I'm gonna take back what is rightfully mine. I will control everything." Max said slowly. I looked all around trying to figure out how to stop him when I noticed below me was a large hydro pump. "I will be like a god to them." He growled.
"A god named Sparky?" I scrunched my nose under my mask.

Electro powered up his hands and yelled, sending out electric waves in my direction. Hitting the building I sat on top of, shattering part of it as I jumped into the sky to avoid being hit. I dove down toward's the hydro pump below me and stuck some web's to them. Landing on my feet and pulling hard. Bursting the pipes open. I lifted the pipe and pointed it upward at Electro to flush him down.
"No this time!" Electro yelled. His form floated in the air and blasted the water back with his electricity. "Is that all you got?! Come on!"
The pipes below me burst as the electric charge made them explode.

Back at the police car, Peter struggled with the webbing and managed to break free.

I jumped in the air from the pipes and was met with feet to the chest, from Electro. Sending me backwards. I shot out a web to catch myself and pulled away as he tried to blast me with an electric shock. Exploding one of the tower's behind us. I shot out a web mid air and flung a piece of the broken metal at him, smacking him in the chest, making him go backwards this time. I landed on a pole and webbed up two of them together, making a slingshot for myself and sending my body right at Electro as he barely recovered.
"Come on!" He yelled as I tackled his body to the ground.
We tumbled together and he landed on top of me, taking the advantage to put his hand's around my throat and squeeze.
"Ready. To. Give. Up?" I questioned him trying to stay breathing.
He yelled in my face, making electricity fly from his mouth, around my head. I got my feet up underneath him and kicked him off of me. Electro was sent into the sky and I landed upright on the ground, shooting web's up at his torso. He rubbed his hand's together creating an electric charge and grabbed the webbing. The electricity traveled down the web's and was repelled back from the newly magnetized web shooters.
"Oh, thank you, Peter Parker!" I groaned in happiness as I pulled down on the webs, making him crash into the ground.

As he landed on the ground with a loud scream, a large burst of energy and electricity shot out from him, sending me flying backwards. The electricity coursed through my body like a thousand volts all at once, light being struck down by lightening. I convulsed for a moment on the ground and groaned.
"Ugh, shake it off. Just shake it off. It's just your bones, your muscles, and your organs." I groaned trying to crawl. I shuttered, shaking my head to get myself out of it. I looked up as a loud musical sound coursed through the electric grid. "Oh, boy." I got to my spider pose position and watched each of the tower's light up, making musical sounds. I instantly reconized the tune as The Itsy Bitsy Spider. A blast came from one of the towers and hit me, making me roll backwards with a loud grunt.

    "Ugh!"
Another one hit me after the next verse.
"I really hate this song!" I stood to my feet and looked around hoping to figure out where he'd attack next. But to no avail. I was hit from behind and the electric wave carried me through the tower's, knocking my body into them as it moved around. I finally fell to the ground and then another large blast sent me into the air. I tried to catch myself, but another blast shot out and sent me around.
"Ahhh!" I shouted falling to the ground, only to be caught in electric chuckles around my wrists, ankles and electricity pouring into my stomach. I looked down to see Electro shooting blast from his hands, the one attacking my internal organs. My body shook and I groaned trying to move my hand to shoot out webbing, but the entire power grid of electricity was now running through electro and through my body. Everything around me flickered on and off.
"Spider-Woman, bet you never saw this coming." Electro growled.
