Ok so I'm gonna be explaining some things about this story.
First In this story Gogeta is a person of his own existence and there is a place that exist between the realm of the living and the otherworld, that is where Gogeta, Vegito, Kefla and any other Fusion Warriors exists. When the DBZ characters perform the Fusion Dance or use the potara earrings it acts as a form of summoning them and the Fusion Warriors come to the living world while the summoners are inactive during that time so Gogeta is not Goku and Vegeta when they fuse and neither is Vegito in any way they are just Warriors who are summoned to fight those who threatened their world.
And Secondly the Games like Dragon Ball FighterZ, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 1 & 2 and Dragon Ball Heroes are canon in this story which means there'll be Android 21, the Time Breakers and Demon God Demigra.
