According to the Bible, love is patient, love is kind, it does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonour others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
This statement is true everywhere, whether you are in a relationship with someone or learning to love yourself. It explains why there seems to be no thought of us being separate turns up in my brain.
The warm hug around my heart feels familiar but this time, with a different person.
And I can't let him go, despite his arguments.
