After that night, I didn't talk to my Hermano or ma for weeks, which hurt me, because I depended on my mas love. I hadn't talked to Camilo or written to him about my family situation. I felt as if I saw him I would relive the horrible night. Today I would finally leave the house, after what happened at the madrigal's. I wore a dark blue dress, with a blue bonnet ribbon, like Dolores. As I walked down the street eyes stared, knowing of what happened between me and Camilo

Pepa and Felix did not feel the same for my family as they did before. Saying they jeopardized a beautiful future for our families.

As I walked into the tienda, I felt the same pair of eyes on me, that i have felt before.

Before anyone could say anything I said hello to him

" long time no see Camilo " I said trying to keep back tears

" hello mariposa " he said with a blank face, almost sad looking

" you look good " I say looking at his new outfit. he looked different, sadder then usual

" you too chica " he said looking at my new outfit

" once again we match " I said jokingly

" yes, it seems so" he says before tearing up

" Camilo, amor what's wrong? " I asked while pulling him close

" Y/n, things have been so bad at home. Abeula is making everyone and everything perfect, and your not with me anymore. I don't have my joy or happiness when I'm without you. " he says while breaking down

You knew Camilo had feelings, but he hasn't ever been this emotional towards you before.

" Camilo, mi amor, I love you so much I can't explain, but you know my alma forbids it. Would you go against your ma's wishes? " I ask while staring into his almost empty eyes.

" no I wouldn't " he said to me while looking down

" Camilo I must go, but I really do hope things get better at home. I will pray for you tonight " I say before leaving

" I love you mi mariposa " he says before I leave

I just look back at him, then leave
