The Prey

2 Years Later

I woke up to my alarm and at my door so I got to open it and my uncle was standing there with a long cardboard that was box in his hand then he told me "go do your chores then come back in here for your birthday gift." I nod and I got dressed and started to do my chores and even fixing breakfast and then I seen my uncle came in with my another smaller box then he seen me fixing breakfast and I started to thinking what is in them boxes I just shrugged my shoulder and went on cooking breakfast not thinking about it then I heard come in the kitchen and him say "once you are done with eating I need you to go and get groceries at the store." I sighed and agreed to what he said and gave me a list of items and left to get it.

After a few hours of get groceries I got back home to seen my uncle out side on the porch and smoking tobacco out of a pipe which didn't surprise me all that much because he did this a lot but what did surprise me was that he was talking to some lady about the age of dad but I didn't know her but so I got out of the truck and got the groceries and went inside and came back out to question my uncle "uncle Chris who this" I asked as nice as possible then the got up and came up to me and stuck her hand out and spoke up "I'm Anna I knew your father and some secrets that he had." Me and my uncle were confused at what she said but then she explained "you know that your father was on a special force right but back 1987 he was on mission to find a crash helicopter crew but I they were all and they thought that my village did but little did any of us know was something else in that jungle and he helped me survive. Then I got word of your father here resonantly and I had found out you and it thought that time in the jungle." I just looked at her a little dumb found but understand what see saying then she started speaking again and was digging in her pocket "your father kept contact with me a little bit after that mission that he had but he and one day he gave me a key in the  mail and a letter" she pulled out a envelope and hand it to me and I could see that it was already was opened but I flipped it over and the key and two folded pieces of paper fell out and I grabbed two piece of paper and the key and held the envelope in between my fingers and unfolded the one of the pieces of paper and started to read it out loud

Anna when I die give this to my son Jake. My address is xxxxxx USA

And for my son I can't write what I have to say in this letter but I can give you clues to what I have to say on the other piece of paper and to let you son to forgive my killers and for know have peace in your life and I have to the key to your life in the envelope.

After reading that I started to get a little teary eyed but my uncle stood up and gave me a pat on the shoulder wiped my eyes and then I looked at the other piece of paper and decided to read to only see it was blank which confused me he said the info was on this paper but was blank then I got me to thinking and I spoke aloud "what a minute I think I know how to get the info." As I opened the door told them to fallow me and they did. I ran to the kitchen and and got a cup of water and told uncle Chris to get the hair dryer and cotton swob. when he came back he had the things I needed and dipped end of the cotton swob in the water and Chris plug up the dryer and I started to wipe the cotton swob on the paper and it revealed the a message and after what seemed to be a hour of wiped and dying I finally got the read the whole letter and I read the the letter out loud.

I'm guessing that you figured out how to get the rest of my message so I will tell you back happen to me. basically the thing that killed me was not the first time this has happened to me I had faced it kind before and it been tracking me for years now but it never made a move and I knew one day that you will come across one some day so I prepared a gift for you in the basement and you will a safe but I forgot the code so here the key.

I looked at the key and I knew what I have to do. I grabbed the key and told them to stay here I will be back and went down in to the basement a place we're I didn't go all that much but the basement was a little on the small side but still was a big enough to get for me to stand and I noticed the safe that my dad was talking about but I noticed something. The door on the safe said the property of Dutch which was surprising but I knew some people that called him that but I then seen a key hole the same size as the key hole and so I stick it in the key hole and it slipped right in "let's see what in side." I opened it, and what I saw made this mystery go deeper.
