The tusk dogs

I woke to sound of something sniffing around me I started think of away out of this. Then suddenly one of the tusk dogs tried to enter the log at the ends but it was to small then I yelled out loud "ha you can't get me you basterds." Then I heard one of them get on top of the log and started to claw at the log and this was more effective and so the rest of them and so I started to sneak out of the log and hope that they don't see me. Then I managed to get out of log but then I heard them brake through the log and when they seen that I wasn't there they started to look around and soon seen me trying to escape and they started to run at and I started to run as well and I knew admittedly That I wasn't going to out run them and started to look around and I seen the trees that I could climb then I seen a tree to the right of me so I did a sharp turn to my right and this caused some of tusk dogs to slide a bit but so they on my tail once more and I knew then that I had to get to tree and climb up because my life depends on it. Then I felt my jump on me and I turned to face it and it was one of the tusk dogs and it knocked me to the ground and it tried to bite me but managed to grab it face tusk and move it head around and then it my gauntlet extended the two blades so I used them to stab tusk dog in the neck and seemed to kill the beast because it went limp and fell on top of me and I tried to push it off of me but it was to heavy and so I pulling myself out from underneath it and it worked. Then when I got up I seen the other things cycle me around me and I pulled out my hatchet out in my left hand and the the blades on my right and was prepared for a fight even though I was still tired and exhausted but this was my best option that I had because I had my back against the wall and the chips were down and I'm not going down without a fight. But before I could fight them I heard a whistle and the tusk dogs left and when the coast was clear my legs gave out and I fell to the ground I was exhausted and my legs aching and I was breathing heavily and started to think to my self "I'm not built for this not one bit" then I sat up and I looked around and seen the dead tusk dog and I started to feel bad about the dog and spoke out loud "poor thing, if things were different then I would have not done this." I sighed and went over to it and seen that I had eye they were black completely dark out so I closed it eyes I spoke up and said "my you reset in peace" then I got thinking about it and thought about cutting off one of it tusk or cut off some meat but decided against it. Because it probably not help me out to make those things mad at me more. So I caught my breath and Stood up to get out of here don't want more of them after me and more of them and so I moved on trying to find something to drink and something beside my one MRE and so I started walking trying to find water.

After walking for about an hour and half of walking I heard running water and I got excited and started to quicken my steps and move towards the sound of the water. I came across a cliff and I looked down and seen a pool of water and looked to my left and seen a waterfall and the scenery was breathtaking to say the least but I had to focus on the task at hand. So I looked back in my bag to see if I could find something to hold water but when I looked in my bag I found a bible and a canteen. Then I thought "hmm strange that there is a bible but at least there is something for me to read." So I went over close to the water and got my canteen full of water and then I traveled down the cliff and managed get to the bottom of the cliff and I thought that my luck was changing and stuff was looking up for me then I heard the ominous grunting sound and thought that I was being attacked again but I didn't hear a lot of them it sound like it was crying out for help so I went over the to see what exactly was going on. when I got there I seen one of those tusk dogs trapped in what looked to be a bear trap and it paw was stuck in it the thing smaller and started to sound like it was whimpering now I started to feel bad for the thing and so I went over to and it started to growl at me but I showed it my hands and it seemed to calm down a bit and tired my attention to it paw that was stuck and noticed that the trap looked man made so I tried to get it unstuck. I first to move the jaws but to no avail but I thought to get use my wrist blades and to it out of it trap as I was using the I heard so more grunting sounds so I quicken my pass I managed to get the tusk dog out as I did it pinned me down and Started to licking and I started to chuckled a little bit when it did then I heard whistle and it ran off but before it did it seemed to look back at me and then it ran off and I felt good about myself and hope that I could get off this planet peacefully but that still hopeful wish for now.
