Chapter 5

Third person's pov:

The party started, luisa putting donkey's to their place, camilo greeting the people, isabela dancing with her gift, and casita working hard to help the people

"Haha, there you are" Felix said as he saw mirabel, y/n, and antonio walk down the stairs

"Look at you! all grown up" Pepa said about to hold antonio, "Pepi, amor, you're gonna get him all wet." Felix said and pulled pepa

While the 3 older sibling looked proudly at the youngest, camilo shape shifted into felix and held Antonio's face "You are making your papa proud" Camilo said imitating his father

Y/n tried to hold her laugh hiding her face behind dolores

"i don't sound like that"

"I dOnT sOuNd LiKe tHaT"

Felix shook his head

"Abuela said it's time"

"We'll be waiting at your door"

"Okay, okay.come come come" Felix said (i actually don't know what he said after okay okay)

"OkAy, oKay. CoMe coMe ComE. All right I'm done!" Camilo said as his father grabbed him

Y/n looked at antonio and bent down to reach his level, "don't worry tonito, you'll get your gift" Y/n said smiling warmly at her brother and kissed his forehead, and went to the others while mirabel stayed behind

Abuela was standing at the stairs looking at the people "Fifty years ago...in our darkest moment, This candle blesses us with a miracle." Abuela said while showing the candle

"And the greatest honor of our family...Has been to use our blessings to serve this beloved community. Tonight, we come together once more...As another steps into the light...To make us proud."

Then the curtains opened to reveal antonio in a white suit the tiles jumped, the people cheered, and the light focused on antonio

Y/n's pov:

I was holding hands with luisa as we wait for antonio to get his gift, he stared nervously at the people when his eyes went to me, i gave him a smile and a thumbs up

Abuela reached the top of the stairs where the door is

Antonio looked behind the curtains, I'm assuming where mirabel is. He reached out his hands and mouthed somethingto mirabel

Then mirabel walked to antonio and held his hand which made everyone surprised and confused, i looked at isabel and she looked irritated just by seeing mirabel

Mirabel mouthed somehing to antonio and antonio hugged mirabel's arm and they started walking to the door

As they reached abuela, mirabel moved to where mami and papi are. Abuela started talking to antonio about the gift. Antonio held the candle and walked nervously towards the door

Then as he held it, i held my breathe. It started glowing i sighed relieved so did most of the people and we smiled at antonio and the door waiting for the gift to be revealed

Just then a tucan landed in his arm my smile widened and i hit camilo who was in front of me, "hah! Told you!" I whisper-shouted at him and he handed me 50 bucks disappointed

What did we have a bet in? Well we bet to what gift antonio will have, i bet for an animal related gift while he bet for a hair gift. Weird guess i know

Then i looked back at antonio he was talking to the parrot "Uh-huh, uh-huh, i understand you" He said then the parrot fle to his other arm

"Ofcourse they can come!" Antonio said and the bird shouted and loads of animals started running or flying to antonio

And the door was done, it revealed antonio with animals around him. Abuela sighed in relief and smiled

"We have a new gift!"

The people clapped and the fireworks popped i immediately put an ear muff in dolores ear using my gift, she smiled and thanked me then looked back at antonio

We went inside antonio's room revealing a jungle with a huge tree in the middle

"It's bigger in the inside!?" A kid shouted

Then a jaguar came running towards antonio and lifted him onto his back "Antonio!" Papi shouted happily at antonio

The jaguar ran with him around the room, and i can't help but smile at antonio's face he was so happy

Antonio fell and some were shocked but he fell into a hammock with some animals

People cheered and antonio slide into water which i got shocked at but he used the snake like a vine and jumped then the tiger catched him and ran to a water fall and back to us

Mami and papi hugged him, while me and my siblings just smiled proudly at him. While the jaguar went to tio agustin

"I knew you could do it! A gift just as special as you" Abuela said holding antonio's head

"We need a picture! Everyone! Come, come, come!" Abuela said standing up

"It's a great night! It's a perfect night!" Abuela cheered as she guided us to a place in Antonio's room

"Everyone! Together!" Abuela shouted, we were all together except mirabel

"La familia madrigal!" We shouted, some showing off their gift and some just smiling at the camera

But i? I was looking worriedly at mirabel, since she won't be in the picture. But i was still smiling, forced for the camera

I saw as mirabel walked out of the room

I followed her, and saw she was holding a broken roof tile, Then mirabel cut her hand with the roof tile and the floor was shaking

"Casita?" Mirabel asked reaching for the floor tile, then it cracked and then the other, and other then it started cracking the walls, the 2nd floor, and the roof

The lights in the door were flickering, then the crack started going to the candle, the candle was weakening

Mirabel ran inside the room, "The house is in danger! The house is in danger!" I heard mirabel shout from outside the room

The music stopped "The tiles were falling, there were cracks everywhere" But then the cracks started dissapearing, my eyebrows furrowed

"And the candle almost went out" The candle was back to normal, "show me" Abuela said and they walked out

Mirabel looked around "what?" everything was fine "No, that's..." She shook her head

"The crackes were there" She said pointing at the walls "They were everywhere" Mirabel said holding her am

"The house was in trouble, the candle was..." Isabela rolled her eyes, "Aubela, i promise-"

"That's enough" Abuela said and put up her hand, abuela looked at me to see if it was true i nodded, she sighed and looked at the people

"There is nothing wrong with la casa madrigal.The magic is strong.And so are the drinks" People laughed

"Please! music!" Abuela clapped, then luisa crried the piano in front of tio agustin, and tio agustin played

And they all went back inside of antonio's room, except tia julieta and mirabel they went to the kitchen
