That picture made me laugh like omg. It really looks like fetus Harry, either that or I need to up the lenses on my glasses omg.

Oh! And listen to Dance Party by Sleeping with Sirens guys! It's like 1 minute and 30 seconds and purely instrumental but god idk it's so nice and calming and I felt like floating into space or something.

Anywaaaay enjoy this chapter, even though it's a day late. But hey, my cousin kicked me in the face while fighting for dominance over an inflatable bed my uncle brought into the pool even when my dad told him not to do so.

That was a lengthy excuse but I swear to god it's real and my face is killing me.

The first thing I tried to do was remember that guard's name, but soon I realize that that wouldn't really help my situation in any way.

I could see the hand near my brother's throat slacken its hold on the blade. The guard's blue eyes widen in shock as he sees me wearing a dress close to being considered as rags.

I can't recall his name, but I'm sure he's the guard that escorted be from Liam's room to the dinning hall. I remember him mistaking me for someone like them, and I never knew if he got the news that I was just a low villager, or if the prince had demanded for the guards who found out to shut up.

I guess it was the latter one now.

However, I do recall Liam helping me fake my death and a cold chill ran down my spine.

They all think I'm dead. What if one of the guards that had been there on that night was here? What if he had already seen me? What if he survives and gets back to the prince?

I swallowed against my suddenly dry throat. My hand reached up and slowly grabbed an arrow from my back, not bothering to hide my actions.

The guard watches my every move, although his grip on my brother didn't return back to the tight position it had.

I readied the arrow by the bow, noticing how light these were compared to the ones I used to use in the woods. I raised the bow up and drew the string back, aiming it at the guard before speaking. "Let go of him." I say, my voice steady and cold.

If I let him know how hard this was effecting me - seeing my older brother helpless with a knife at his neck - the guard would know he has the upper hand, and that was the last thing I needed at the moment.

The guard doesn't follow, his eyes still wide as they watched me. "But you were dead." He all but whispers.

I pressed my lips into a tight line, not bothering to respond to him.

"L-Liam burnt your body. We saw the ashes. He burnt you after he beheaded you. We saw the blood! The ashes!" He was hysterical now, possibly thinking that I was a monster or that I was some kind of witch.

I didn't have the faintest idea how Liam had faked the blood, but the ashes, I suppose were the ashes of something else that he had burnt.

"I'm not that easy to get rid of." I say with a small shrug of my shoulders.

I wanted to launch the arrow so bad, but I knew I couldn't. My brother's head blocked most of the guard's, and even I couldn't make this shot without harming Christian. I didn't want to risk shooting the guard anywhere else either. His screams would surely attract some kind of attention towards us.

The knight's blue eyes remained on me, though they were no longer as wide as before. He looked like he was in deep thought and the more time that past in silence, the more terrified I was.
