It'll be my 18th birthday in a 2 days, I'm so excited I'll finally get my mate.
My brother Apo got his mate, five years ago when he turned 18 aswell.
Sometimes we don't get our mate immediately, I hope I get my soon though.
Apo and his mate no longer live in the pack house, they live with Tay and Time .
Apo is next in line for Alpha since he's the oldest.
His bestfriend Jeff is going to be one aswell for his Dads pack.
Jeff's 21, he still hasn't gotten his mate.
On his 18th birthday all of us had been there.
I thought he'd spend the night with the rest of his night with all his older friends but when Tay, Time, Apo and Mile left, myself and Jeff spent the rest of the night hanging out.
Everyone wondered why he was hanging out with me instead but he just ignored them.
"why would you hang out with your bestfriends brother instead of other friends?" I ask him.
"it's better to hang out with you" he told me and I smiled.
Since then, I've been inlove with him.
He always came over to the pack house and hung out with me even when Apo them weren't them.
14 year old me, cried everytime I saw him walk with girls.
I thought he had been getting with girls because he's 18 with or without a mate, noone wants to feel lonely.
Jeff always hung out with me.
Im sad for my birthday, yes I want a mate but I know Jeff and I won't be able to be with each other as much.
He's taking me out to the movies later because he won't be able to come to my 18th birthday party.
I run downstairs.
"Jeff's picking me up mom" I shout happily.
"Yes we know son, he let us know already"my dad says.
My parents knew I was absolutely infatuated with Jeff and I got a speech already.
"What if Jeff's not your mate?"
"What if Jeff meets his mate?"
I know and I would be hurt but I will be happy for him, same way he'd be happy for me.
I'm dressed in a pair of black pants and a jersey.
Jeff said he's loves my Jersey.
I'm wearing it just for him.
I see Arm and Pol go past me, howling softly as greeting.
Pol's grey wolf and Arm's black wolf chasing each other.
They're probably playing.
I see Jeff's car pull up, Just as I walk down the steps.
He steps out his car, looking as handsome as ever.
He's wearing a black suit pants and white Nike top.
He walks up to me, stopping right infront of me and giving me a long hug and kiss on my cheek.
"Hi Code, you look so cute" he says.
"Thank you, you look very handsome"
My cheeks turning rosy red.
"so cute" he says pinching my cheeks lightly.
We walk inside and he greets my parents.
"Alpha Jon and Luna Rose, Good afternoon"
"Good afternoon, sweet boy we told you to call us Jon and Rose okay, You're basically family"My mom says.
"I'm still sir to you"my dad says.
My mom laughs and Jeff just says yes sir.
"and don't come back to late okay" He tells us.
"Yes sir" Jeff says.
We walk back outside and Jeff opens the door for me to climb into the car.
Then we're off.
