Three Steps Back

"Here we are" James said as we pulled into the carpark of The Academy. It looks exactly the same, it always does. I don't know why I thought this would be any different
"I can't believe we're in our third year" I smiled as we headed inside
"Me either, it's going to be crazy" He smiled

James and I were both lucky in the fact that we didn't need to bring anything up with us
Deborah dropped of all of James' things while she brought Piper up and Liam dropped my things off this morning
All we had to do was unpack
"Where to first?" James asked intertwining our hands
"How about your dorm first. I wanna see what the four person ones look like" I said making him chuckle but nod heading down the corridor

This corridor was nothing like our old one. Well it was but it was a complete different colour scheme. The first one was more white and clean where this was more muted brown, it felt cosy
"And here is home for this year" James said twirling me around before entering the room
On each of the bed there was a box meaning the boys had beat us here yet again
James side of the room was obvious though, all his boxes piled high at the bed furthest from the door. Just like in his and Eldon's old dorm

"Come here" James said making me look at him confused as he grabbed my hand pulling me close throwing my hands behind him so I could wrap them around his neck as his slid around my waist
Before I could ask anything, James leant forward pressing our lips together making me smile into the kiss
James pulled me in as close as possible before grabbing my legs lifting me off the ground so my legs wrapped around his torso
I giggled at the sudden touch but we never broke the kiss

"oh come onnnnn!" Eldon groaned making both James and I pull away before laughing
All three boys were stood at the entrance looking at us in disbelief only making James and I laugh harder
"Dude, we aren't doing this again this year" Eldon warned him
"Yeah, she has her own room" West laughed making me smile
"Sorry boys" I said making them all roll their eyes with a small smile on their face
They could never be mad at me no matter how hard they tried

After helping James unpack, we headed to my room, to which we found out is directly next to Michelle again, just all the years before. The only difference was the boys weren't near us. They were in a complete different section which is a given considering the room they requested
"Woah" James said as we entered 
The new dorm room was a lot bigger then my old one, it had a desk already in here, a dresser and a wardrobe and James' favourite thing
"You got a double bed!" He cheered instantly jumping onto it making me laugh
"Thought that would be your favourite thing" I laughed

"Can you blame me babe. The amount of time we fell out of your old bed" He said making me chuckle
"Heyyyyy I liked that bed!" I said making him roll his eyes
"I dare to think about who has that bed now" He chuckled before there was a knock at my door

"Well it clearly isn't the gang" He laughed getting off of the bed as I opened the door
"Hey Piper" I smiled allowing her to come into the room
"Woahhh, this place is so much bigger then my room" She said turning around a few times
"What's up Pipesqueak" James said grabbing his sister messing up her hair

"Please don't embarrass me around here James" She whined making James evilly chuckle
"Now what type of big brother would I be if I didn't?" He asked making me roll my eyes
"It's okay Piper, I'll keep him check" I said making her smile before coming over to hug me
"I like her James, don't fuck it up" Piper said pointing at her brother 
James rolled his eyes before coming to join us in a hug 

"What dorm did you end up with anyway?" James asked as we started walking out of the room
"It's actually just up from yours James, you were 203 right?" Piper asked and James nodded
"I'm in 198" She said before making mine and James' eyes widen
