It didn't take long for West to manage to persuade me to come back to The Academy, but it wasn't until I made some plans prior "They should all be in here" he smiled as we walked into the boys dorms And West was right There sat all the boys and Michelle The moment I locked eyes with James everyone looked in his direction "We'll give you guys some space" Hunter said standing up shortly followed by everyone else until it was just James and I in the room
"Ri? Are you okay?" He asked stepping towards me, I looked at him and shook my head The moment I shook my head he came straight over pulling me in close while I cried "It's okay, I'm here" He whispered kissing the top of my head "I'm so sorry I lied" I continued to cry but James shook his head kissing the top of mine again
"It's okay, Riley you are going through a lot I get it" He said "That brings me to my next point" I muttered making him look at me while I looked up at him "Dad's on his way" I said but James looked at me even more confused
"I'm going to go stay with him for a couple weeks. I'll be back but I think I need some time out of the city" I said and he sighed nodding "Do you want me to come with you? I want to make sure you are okay" He said and I smiled slightly up at him "I think I need to go alone, I need to figure out how to work myself out of my own head space at the moment" I confessed and James nodded pushing the hair out of my face cupping my cheek
"I love you" He said making me smile again "I love you more" I replied leaning up slowly "I love you most" He whispered before pressing his lips against mine

It was an hour later, I had said good bye to the gang upstairs. Michelle was the most emotional but that was a given "Are you sure I can't come with?" He asked and I chuckled "I'm sure" I said placing my arms around his neck "you know I'm here though alright? Day or night" He said "Sun or stars" I said making him smile
I knew that reference anyway. It was our first ever good bye and god I hope this is our last one
"I'll call you first thing tomorrow" He gushed making me smile "James, stop worrying. I'm going to be okay" I said stroking his cheek "Liam and Lyns are going to join us next week. Em is going to try get some time off of work" I said "I'm going to be surrounded by people so that what your thinking won't happen. I promise you alright?" I asked "But if it does, prom-" He started "If it does, I'll call you. You'll be the first person I call" I said and he nodded
"This is the one thing I hate about this place" James chuckled "What?" I asked "Our goodbyes" He said and I smiled "Hey, this could be the last one" I said playing with his hair "Oh it is, I swear to god I'll pack you in my suitcase if I have to" James said making me chuckle
I glanced behind me to see my dad finally sat in the front seat "I think that's my cue" I said and James sighed nodding before pressing his lips against mine again "Just whatever happens, be safe Ri" He said and I nodded "i love you" I smiled "i love you most" He winked pressing his lips against mine again
It didn't take long for the guilt of leaving to really set in I was doing the right thing wasn't i?
Before I had the chance to over think anymore, I got a notification.. One I didn't know I needed
