Charlotte:ASTA!!!!
Asta then looked up with his dulled eyes to see his captain running towards him and engulfs him in a hug but he didn't reciprocates back.
Charlotte then hold his chin up and saw his dulled eyes and was shocked why Asta like this
Charlotte:Asta.....tell me what happened...why are you like this?please....
Asta:can we please go from here......I need to talk to you.....
Charlotte then looked at Yami and he just nodded as he knew that boy needed some moral support and his wife is perfect by how their relationship like mother and son these days
Charlotte:okay....do you want to talk at your safe house?
Asta just nodded then hold her shoulder and disappeared in a black flash
The others then slowly getting up and secure the dungeon with Fuegoleon and Yami with them
Asta Safehouse
They landed right on the couch in the living room with Charlotte still holding Asta then Asta decided to break the silence
Asta:nee taicho.....*crying*they were right in front of me.....my family killers...I fought them but I was too cocky and I didn't took it seriously....I didn't even use my Hiraishin....I lose....I can't even get revenge for them....*crying* why I was like that....I can't even beat one of them even with those 5.....I think tou-san would be disappointed having a failure as a son
Charlotte can't help but feel guilty because she's late if only she arrived a bit sooner it would be different but she needs to comfort his subordinate...no her son....eventhough it's not by blood but she already thought him as her baby boy
Charlotte:Asta...... not everyone born powerful...they have to train a lot harder than anyone else....so...train...train more learn from your mistake...then if we fought them...I will be beside you all the time....after all you are my baby boy*smile and hug him while caressing his hair*
Asta frozed a bit and wanting to jump back hearing that phrase as he hear it when Acier betrayed him but at the same time he felt different he want to lean more towards her touch the warmth it feels like a....Mother
Charlotte noticed that he winced when she said that and couldn't help to sighed as she knows Asta probably heard it before from Acier
Charlotte: don't worry I will never betrayed you I will be always with you because I'm gonna be fill the spot that lacking in your heart as a mother.
Asta:Arigato........ Kaa-san........
Charlotte then saw Asta who was sleeping in her arms and smiling in his sleep. She smiles at this and relieved that the Asta she know is back...
