why do we let a human
enter our soul?
why do we let a host
visit;
then, live.
then, hunt our temple
we feel a sudden bliss
when they're still here
we feel a sudden jolt of distress
when the room they used to stay
is now for vacancy
checked out, checked in
why do we let them in?
they rent for free
but leaving us
with lots of trouble
to feel and fix.
