(Just an FYI: The main villain character of the story, the one who has been sending hunters and poachers after the readers character, will be making an appearance in this chapter. I hope you guys love to hate him as much as I do, because I feel like I wrote him to be one really evil piece of work)

Readers POV
As I watched Bruno interact with his many rat friends, I felt the same feeling that I felt as I was beginning my tour of the Casita. It was a feeling of belonging, something I couldn't remember the last time I felt before coming here. For a huge part of my life, I never had a real home or a family, due to constantly being on the run. Even though I had some reservations about stopping my efforts to stay one step ahead of my pursuers, they were beginning to be pushed to the side and replaced by feelings of contentment, friendship, and something that I had never remembered feeling before. I seemed to only feel the unexplained feeling when I was around Bruno. It was not negative in its nature, but rather warm and happy. As one of the rats ran on top of Bruno's head and started to use his hair as a resting place, I laughed as he smiled goofily in my direction. After my laughter subsided, we both got up from our sitting positions as Mirabel chimed in,
"So (y/n), are you ready to go see the village? It's the last stop on our tour, then we come back here for dinner! Abuela's pulling out all the stops for a huge spread! Oh, and she's also invited some people from the village as well!"

I smiled warmly at her as I said,
"That sounds wonderful, Mirabel. I would like to thank your entire family for making me feel so welcome, especially you and your Tio Bruno. Perhaps you all are right, maybe it was not such a bad idea to stay here after all."
The two Madrigal's smiles grew even more bigger at my words and we all soon found ourselves being whisked down the stairs of the Casita and out the door by the magical power of the house itself. As the three of us started to make our way towards the village, Mirabel suddenly turned back to wave at the Casita before shouting,
"Adiós, Casita! Make sure Dolores know's we'll be back in time for dinner, ok?"

I turned and waved at the Casita as well, and the magical house responded to both of us by opening and closing its shutters in a similar gesture. As I turned around, I saw Bruno hold his hand out to me as he slightly averted his eyes before muttering,
"I don't want you to get lost. Even though the village isn't that big, and I guess this might be a bit awkward, and what am I even doing, and-"
But his ramblings were cut off as I accepted his offer with a smile and decided to play along and humor him.

"You're right, I wouldn't want to get lost. I've never been inside your village before, and I guess there must be many streets and turns. So thank you, Bruno."

Mirabel thought this exchange was entirely too funny as she laughed at her Tio's antics before straightening her glasses and beginning the tour of the rest of the Encanto.

3rd Person POV

In a elegant and stately villa on the outskirts of Bogota, a man hurries along the hallways of the estate. He has received what appears to be good news for his employer, but is frightened that he has to be the one to deliver it. He knows full well what has happened to the last person who disappointed his master and got on his bad side. But he has little time to reflect on that, as he stops in front of an ornate door that led to his employers study. He takes in an anxious breath before rapping his knuckles on the door.

"Enter." A smooth voice orders. The door is opened to reveal his employer sitting on a high-backed chair finalizing new business deals. His eyes do not move from his work as the other man steps into the room.

"Mi señor, I bring news from the group of poachers on the trail of the woman."
At these words, his employers cold and calculating eyes flicked upwards, causing the man by the door to noticeably flinch.

"What of it, Nicolás? Has Mi Premio managed to evade them again?" The sitting male inquired as his unsettling gaze towards the other did not waver.

"Yes, mi Señor. But they now believe that she has taken refuge in a small village in the mountains. They have scouted the area and it appears that there is only one way into the area, and one way out. They await your orders before they do anything else."

The imposing male gently set down his work before standing and moving towards the luxurious window that sat at the back of the room. He surveyed the view of his massive estate haughtily before turning his head towards Nicolás again.

"Tell me, Nicolás. Do you know why I have spent most of my life tracking her every move and sending those hunters and poachers to chase her down every chance I get?"

"No, Mi Señor."

"I will tell you exactly why, Nicolás. It is because having her will cement to all of Columbia that I am truly Adrian De La Fuente, the one and only "El Diablo que nunca se rinde". That when I want something or something is promised to me, I will never stop my pursuit of it until it is in my grasp. All those years ago, when my father heard of the mysterious girl who could change her form to that of a wild cat like the beasts that roam the jungle, he promised me that she would be captured and brought to me as a testament of our family's undeniable power and legacy. And during all the years that I have been the head of our family ever since his passing, I have vowed to finish what he started. So I will never quit until that woman is here where she belongs, is that clear, Nicolás?"
Adrian spoke as a malicious aura filled the room. The other male quivered before nodding timidly.

"Good. Relay this message to the hunters. If their word is true and she has boxed herself in, then we need only to lie in wait until she reveals herself. Once they have her, I will bring her back to Bogota myself. Now go."

The still trembling man nodded once more before swiftly exiting the room. Adrian's eyes narrowed as he resumed looking outside the window, but this time a sinister smile adorned his face.
"You cannot run forever, Mi Querida Premio. Soon you will be where you belong." He thought to himself as dark clouds could be seen on the horizon.
