"Hello, girls!" Cathy cooed in her high pitched voice.
I was startled by Gino. His raven dark ruffled, probably had just woken up, I thought to myself.
I smirked in my head, thinking about him, standing in his Apple Core warmup suit like I had my ALDC one on.
"Hi Gino, Jayden, Nick, and Zach!" Abby said, not wanting acknowledge Cathy nor the dance moms or dad of Cathy's team.
I was still staring at Gino when our breakfast came. Still, Gino looked more interesting than my French toast and OJ.
What are you doing, Madison? You can't like guys! You are a dancer, not a guy liker or whatever. My mini Maddie whispered to me on my left shoulder. On my right shoulder, mini Maddie said:
Follow your heart, Maddie. If you find guys attractive and nice, namely Gino, then you should go for it. If you find guys gross and aren't ready to like guys just yet, that's okay too! Sometimes we have to make choices with our hearts, too. Ya know?
And with that, both mini Maddies left my shoulders. I know what I'm gonna do about Gino.
