It was 4am. You faintly heard Kai pull into the driveway but you drifted back into your slumber. What felt like in the blink of an eye, you were slowly awoken by the brush of a finger tip across your cheek. Seeing his dilated pupils scan across your peaceful face in admiration was enough to put you back into a dream-like state.
"Go back to sleep" his whisper tickled your ears.
Doing as you were told, you gave into your heavy eyelids. You wanted to ask about Junmyeon but you were too dazed to push out any words and let the blissful darkness consume your concerned thoughts. The last thing to send you to your doze was the feeling of bare arms wrapping firmly around your waist from behind you.
The gut wrenching vibration of your alarm bouncing on the glass table next to you disrupted your dreams, causing you to twitch under the blanket in annoyance. Your eyes paced the room around you for Jongin but he was no where to be seen. Reaching over for your phone, you saw a singular notification sit on your lockscreen.
'something came up at work so i went early but i left u a coffee on the counter, I'll come pick u up at 5'
You half-heartedly smiled to yourself before freshening up and leaving for college. You only had a few classes and a lecture so you weren't overly stressed for the day to come. Trying your best to concentrate during the long spoken studies, your mind was plagued with images of the night before. So much that you could almost feel his magical fingers caressing your torso. He was the remedy to all of your desires, you craved him at the worst times. You needed him to ease your mind.
The clock turned 4pm as you stayed behind for your catch up study. Eyes fixed on the winter sun as it dozed off into the horizon through the window, turning the sky all shades of purple and orange. Though your gaze was disturbed by your ringtone dancing in your jean pocket. Jongin's name flashed on the screen before you swiftly brought it up to your ear.
"Its gonna be about an hour or two before i can reach you but i just wanted to check on how you're holding up"
His voice melted in your ears like butter, making you want to admit to everything you'd been thinking about but with restraint, you held back.
"I'm okay but i need to see you"
"And why is that?" you could hear his smirk even through the phone, you did your best to ignore him though as you weren't the only one in the studyroom.
"Just take your time and text me when your here, love you"
He laughed to himself and squeezed out a final "love you too" before you hung up.
You tried to continue your course work but his words repeated in your head like a broken record. At this rate you didn't know how you'd sit in the car with him while keeping your composure. You wanted to get the journey over with otherwise your desire would end up eating you alive.
